Ashley tisdale was known for being Sharpay the antagonist on High School Musical but honestly she always got that happy and cheerful vibe that I wish she had appeared on more protagonist roles
s a m e I have a vivid memory of asking my friends mom to wait for this to play after the credits and she got pissed when it came on cause she thought it was trashy😭🧐 suburban moms smh✨
@@HaveButOneLife sure she isn't, it's definitely not like she was cast and centered around exactly that and made herself & Disney a ton of money or anything.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Kayla-111 She sucks at singing. She got famous from acting, not from music. If you're talking about High School Musical she was easily the worst singer in that movie.
I listened to this version of Kiss the girl CONSTANTLY when I was a little girl. Ariel has been my mom’s favorite Disney princess since she was a kid so she played it often in hopes I’d like her too. She got lucky (or not 😂) that I ended up liking her and had to get everything Little Mermaid. There’s videos of me in the car in my car seat singing to it and my mom and dad’s personal favorite, I just turned 3 and I was dancing to it at home in a dress like Ariel’s. Nostalgia at it’s finest. Never gets old. If I have a daughter, gotta do the same my mom did to keep the thing going 😆
When I was a little kid, I used to watch old Disney movies, they would make me so happy especially when they started singing, but I never knew they made them as good as this
To be honest i really wish this was the pinnacle of fashion again. You mashed a bunch of stuff together and everyone thought you were the shit. Now you gotta coordinate and plan outfits and make sure it all matches
@@GoogleAccount-jg5vd honestly I'm glad people don't dress like that anymore lmao it was never attractive but what celebrities did. It was never going to last forever, because it wasn't good. 💀💀
@@captaincharlie_ thats my point though, everyone looked like garbage so the least amount of effort put into a look would blow everyone's stretchy shirts under a tank top out of the water
The first time I watched this video as a kid I was mesmerized What would I give to be that age and watch this for the first time again and feel what I felt again 😢
This song give me pretty 2000 flashback. Feelin like old fart. And of course i don't have to talk about this iconic fashion.... shiny boots, long skirts and wearing at least two tops
2:23 JUST LOVE THIS PART. I just came here again because I remember this specific part one of these days LOL, it takes me back immediately to 2006. Good O' days.
Pop Rock en su máximo esplendor, un outfit ícono y un excelente montaje entre el vídeo de Ashley y las escenas de la sirenita hacen de esta sin una de las mejores canciones de Disney 🤩🥰
2023. Just rewatched The Little Mermaid for the umpteenth time in my life and every time afterwards I always have to search out this song again. Best version! Still love it today! ❤
I remember when I was 11 years old I wanted a party with the thematic of this song. I loved Ashley. I wanted her dress too. Now kids at this age aren't so silly, but I remember my adolescence with a smile in my face.
I have a v happy memory of dancing to this while playing it from the DVD menu on my 7th birthday in the Ariel dress my parents had bought me. My grandparents and my uncle were over and it was a v special day that I've never forgotten about
How I wish I could relive 2005 😢 Wakin up around 1:30-3am and this video is playin…. You stay up just to watch the video for a bit before fallin back asleep bc you have school in a few hrs plus brandy and Mr whiskers was coming back on from commercial break … lol I hated that show
This music video has an incredible amount of energy, it's wild. Just 3 minutes of Ashley Tisdale singing/screaming at you about how this dude is going to miss the girl lmao
I saw this in the Spanish Disney Channel when I was like 10. I has just seen HSM for the first time and already loved Ashley from Zack and Cody. The Little Mermaid is my favourite movie and I’ve always loved this song sooooo much, I literally became obsessed with this cover. It’s so powerful, it represents so much the early 2000s (the fashion, the pop-rock style) and I love that it’s her who finally kiss the boy!! 17 years later here I am thinking that it would be amazing to play this in my wedding if I ever get married 😂😂😂
