Will was the only sibling in practise for Ashley. Carlton and Hillary were more like cousins to her, especially Carlton. If something awful happened to Ashley, I bet Will would be even more devastated than those two would be.

It's true. He was definitely a big brother to Ashley, which was definitely one of his greatest strengths as a character. Will definitely had his influence on her, both good and bad. But for the most part, they always had a certain sibling relationship. Even outside of the show, they still had that relationship. Hell, Will helped her launch her singing career, short-lived as it was.

I'm surprised there was nothing from the Episode in Season 2 where Ashley was being bullied (The Mother of All Battles) I love the part when the two girls make up & hug it out (but it looks like Ashley's in a headlock), so Will walks in during & screams "NOOOO!" & puts the bully almost in a Full Nelson. Ashley was like "We're friends now.." & Will still holding up the bully responds "Oh.." ..."You sure you don't wanna get in a couple sucker punches..?" 😂
