This video tells the story of Special Olympics athlete Ashwin Maliyakal and his family. Originally from India, Ashwin's parents Edward and Twinkle were delighted to discover Special Olympics when they moved to Ireland. Edward tells how through Special Olympics Ashwin has found friendship and a sense of team spirit. We follow Ashwin as he competes in the games supported by his proud godparents who have travelled all the way from India for the occasion.
