When people watch a makeup tutorial and say " She was beautiful without makeup." Wanting to get your makeup done doesn't mean the person has low self esteem or implies the person now looks better. It just means you want to have fun and change your look for a night. You don't have to tell her she was beautiful before, because that's has nothing to do her wanting to get her makeup done.
I don't know who would thumbs down this video.. your client is stunning with out make up, and you just brought out her bauty more with your amazing makeup application skills. Loved it!!
The eye makeup is absolutely stunning but the contour and blush looks so harsh and takes away from the beauty. You could see the line, so I suggest blending it out more and using a light hand when you do contour and blush. Just a tip :)
I think she did that on purpose. I agree, it looks harsh, but considering the fact that the client will be wearing it all day and on a special day, the bride will most likely sweat, cry, dance, kiss and get kissed on the cheek by relatives and friends, the blush and contour will fade out. Already the sweat will be enough for it to fade a bit. So imagine the length of an indian wedding and all the body conditions that may occur to the bride. Also, keeping in mind of all I mentioned above, she will be taking videos and photographs in different types of environment so the lighting will always be different, thus her blush and contour may not appear as harsh by the end.
I think she was beautiful before the make and she looks beautiful with. I love cultures like this. the only thing I would think it would feel uncomfortable on me would be the nose ring that dangles, but overall beautiful work.
At first I thought the make-up was a little much but seeing the final result I think the hair makeup jewelry etc all goes nicely together. She looks beautiful and most importantly she looked beautiful natural as well. I really enjoyed this tutorial.
