Few things to consider: 1. Clean the terrace properly before application. Make sure there aren't any dried algae and such that would prevent the contact between the terrace and paint. . 2. ALWAYS apply primer first (if your coating comes with one. It helps the coating stick better to the surface. . 3. Do not apply the coating when terrace is hot. So apply during mid-to-end March before summer arrives because if the terrace is hot, the coating won't stick to it properly. . 4. After the coating has dried, to ensure it lasts longer, prevent walking on it while wearing shoes or any footwear with hard and gripping soles. They damage the coating through which water enters and then forms cracks in the coating. . 5. If you maintain it properly, the coating will be good for 5 years before you need to apply another new coat...
How can you say that the covering area of 20 litres of Damp Proof is 500 sqft area, whereas in the technical datasheet of Asian Paints it is written that 20 L Dampproof will cover a maximum of 250 to 270 sqft area.
Hoga par inta nahi hoga. Simple science hai. Safed rang suraj ki kirno ko reflect karta hai jisse chatt bohot garam nahi hoti. To jitna safed hoga aur jitna wo shine karega utna thanda rahega
Yes it melts RCC in few days and entire roof will fall within 2 weeks. Better idea is put your refrigerator on roof and open all the door all the time. And keep throwing ice cubs every 5 minutes, It will cool the roof
Mene sample me 5 feet paint kiya hai ,chuna or favicol se or fevicol sirf 200grm laya tha , tempreture bahut kam ho jata hai ,lekin isme ek dittkat hai ,mene jab use sirf pani se dhoya to nahi gaya,lekin jab jaadu lagaya to nikalne laga ,lekin ye bhi kuch kam price me nahi hoga kyoki isme fevicol jyada chahiye to fevicol thoda mehnga hai ,5 kg chuna me 1kg fevicol to chahiye hi ,kitna aria me lagega pata nahi ,mera anubhav share kiya hai ,or me aage ispe kaam karuga to , reply jarur karuga ,17/4/2024 धन्यवाद 🙏

Both have advantages and disadvantages... . Tiling your terrace will be a permanent solution to the heating problem but it will make your terrace heavy. So before doing it, make sure your terrace can bear the weight of the tiles and the mortar that will be used to lay them. . The paint/coat on the other hand, are much easier to apply but you'll have to apply it every 4-5 years...
Very poor quality.I used damp proof ultra on terrace but it washed out with in its first rainy season.I complained to the authority but no result.Asian paints fully cheated with me.
Kuch bhi karlo. Heat to aayegi. Ye bakwas hai. Buss isse aap roof ko saaf kr rhe ho or kuch nhi. Purani technique hi sabse best hai. But 4 se 5 degree ka hi farq prta hai.
Sorry for the late reply. Mud insulation system for roof. This is the oldest method to decrease the heat temperature. This is the system technique that Malaysians are using for roof gardening. This is cheapest and very efficient
