I went to three proms but my most gorgeous dress was my junior prom dress. When I walked in all eyes were on me and all the girls kept telling me how gorgeous my dress was and all my accessories and jewelry was. It was all white like a satin tight fit that had a choker style dress with no sleeves and open back tight and went just above the knee but it had a removable long airy tulle skirt that was attached to a satin belt with a beautiful bow in the front that clasped. So if you didn't want to keep wearing the long dramatic add on you could just take it off and wear just the satin dress. Plus I had long white satin gloves and I even had a fur stole to cover my shoulders if it got too cold because our prom was on a big boat and it was gorgeous and so much fun. I felt like a princess that day...I still have that dress 😁

I mostly agree on your preferences, too - even if you are Asian. Not everything has to be fitting for a certain event. It's his preference and everyone should feel free to agree or disagree respectfully!
