Is it really worth it? So expensive. If it was like $3000 maybe I'd do it? But plane tickets are just not cheap plus if I'm flying internationally I want as few layovers as possible. I'm not paying $4000 and for it be a 26 hour trip xD

Hi Andy, I appreciate the comment. Now that I thought of it, I should mention that the Asiana West and Central Lounge were closed; only the East lounge was opened. However, I can’t be sure they will open late (at 8 am) or close due to Covid. It was reassuring to know the lounge opened at 5:30 am for an early morning layover.

Thank you for the feedback. The second leg was a little boring for me so I didn't film much. I don't know if it was just me but the Wifi didn't work for me so I can't stream any movie. I took a long nap after my meal. Enjoy your first business class experience!

Haha, anyone scored great business class deals have bragging rights 😂 !! I wish business class price could cool down a bit, but I can’t blame airlines for wanting to make up for the money they lost during Covid

@Hello Winnie facts. I just booked a flight to Dubair business for $3k. I personally think that's a great deal gonna try to use my Avios to get to 1st class

They are more like the regional business class, as the configuration is 2-2. They are big wide seats, very comfortable, angle flat seats.

If you bought the ticket from lax to Hanoi then you will check your bag in LAX and get your bag in Hanoi. No need to grab you bag during layover. 1 hr and 50 min should be enough if your flight is on time. You don’t do through customs in Korea so it won’t take long.

No, you only need to bring the right paperwork for your final destination.

Can’t comment on the pricing cause it changes based on when you buy and the season. If I booked further out I would have gotten better deal for sure. This one was the cheapest I could find when I looked 😕. It was also during the first summer “post Covid” restrictions so the price sky rocketed.

I agreed, but sadly they don't fly the larger plane for the flight to Hanoi. Mainly the true business experience is from LAX to ICN and the lounge access. The service was more tentative than the larger plane, and food was delicious though. They called it the "Regional Business" class. :)

There are no premium economy seats on any airline in the world that can match the regional business from ICN to HAN. What is "worth the money you paid for" depends on one's budget for comfort level and when you bought the ticket. If you cannot pay it yourself do not knock others who can afford it. It's just jealousy.

$2000 for the long haul flight & $300 for the shorter flight. Sounds like a good deal to me.

None taken. Compare to other business class flight I have been on where i could pick my meal ahead of time via an extended menu, this isn’t the best. Plus, it’s missing the fried egg 😂

@@tubby_1278 hi Tou, I wish I had the ultimate answer here but I don’t. For me, I planned ahead of time, look up the price about 2 months out, and use Google flight to find the deal by not picking a destination or time of travel, Google will show me the best deal for all the destinations. I think being flexible is key. I also use my credit card point to its best advantage. I redeemed 100k miles for a $3000 business class flight with Singapore Air recently, those points are equated to $1000 of gift card so it’s better spent to redeem flights. Hope it helps!
