This is a video of the Asiatic lions at Paignton Zoo which I filmed on Friday (20.01.12), strangely during the last fours years of going to Paignton Zoo I had never seen the male lion being active. Therefore this is the first time I had ever seen him do more than lift his head and quite surprisingly he is very energetic. (It is worth noting that this footage of filmed at different times of day during my visit which explains the differences in light levels.)
