Got this pair this week...just a very under the radar pair that has really made me appreciate the more modern Asics models. Always liked Gel Lyte 3 and 5s.
These look nice for them "cozy boy" days. Recently Ive really been into the Vomero 5s due to their wide accessibility now and the fact that I can find many variations on sale for $120 or less! What a time to be still collecting kicks. Ive never owned asics, but I might check out this model.

Hey Doc! Congrats on the restock W! The gift of mambas were my first 4 ever and I think they’re the best Lobe silhouette for casual wear. Both pairs have great materials and I love having something different. I haven’t worn the Girl Dad pair yet but I like them just as much as the gift of mambas especially bc of the inspiration behind the shoe. BIG W!!!
I love the pair but I skipped because I copped two pairs of the distressed pair of the GT2160 in silver an mauve color-way! And if you watch Sean Go I believe he explained why there’s no co branding or special box!
I've been sayjng as a pure enthusiast of shoes.. Asics had been doing well/better is because the colorways are more wearable than in previous eras. I have some asics from AGES ago. Kayano too. With the colorway... they are similar to waverunner but came out like 4 years before.
A great Asics collab that I bought is the gel NYC collab with Awake NY . They came out with two diff color ways. I grabbed the teal and salmon. The packaging / box is great, has NYC printed all over the box ,so it def stands out amongst other boxes. The quality and materials were great. I've ended up getting several other color ways of that model now which has quickly become my favorite. Check it out I'm sure you will like!!!
Grab my pair off kith. I seen on another video, that it was a conflict releasing them on time. Which is why there is no collab branding but I really like them. They’re see through. Very cool sneaker.

@@wilseph1 worst drought since the house was built in 2019. We even get a good bit of shade but it’s so bad even watering it doesn’t help. Trees started dropping leaves a month ago. Sucks.
@@BREDNBUTTER Once it starts to get a bit cooler - later in August early September, we'll both see that green again! I've been seeing more yellow than I want myself and the constant watering ain't gonna do it either. It always comes back late summer.
