I can get why you’d say that due to the foam bits around the gel on the outsole? But it wasn’t the first thought that hit me when I saw this model. These gave me the classic trainer look I grew up with as a Millennial back in the 90’s tbh. In the 2000’s platform and skating shoes was the newest trend.
