Ugh I’ve dealt with this. “It’s the thought thats counts” only applies when someone puts in a lot of effort and it’s still bad or if they went through the trouble and then something happened that messed everything up… lol

I feel like whenever Sheena and TRID are together they are continuing their playthrough of The Newlywed Game. Every video they release, whether it be a short/TikTok or a longer vid like Asinine Adventures, is just an new "question" or "segment", or whatever you would like to call it, of the game

My mom makes Christmas Eve boxes with pajamas, a movie, and snacks, and she does this for all the grandkids now.

We do the ornament thing too. Also, Christmas eve, the kids open 1 gift. It's always the same thing. PJs, a mug with hot coco, popcorn and a new Christmas movie that we watch before bed.

RE: holding a christmas tree: you weight it down on the bottom. it's that simple. Don't over decorate your tree so it becomes top heavy. build a flat crisscross platform attached to base of tree, and place heavy weights on the outcropping legs. or anchor the 'live' tree in a large bucket of neutrient rich soil with water proof tray under. it'll be heavy enough to anchor the tree. If you don't mind putting holes in your wall/ceiling, attach an anchor to the wall/ceiling stud/joist and tie the top of the tree to it, so it can't fall.

I recently figured out that you can rent trees in a pot. Means, you rent a living tree for Christmas and afterwards they will pick it up again and plant it back. And next year you can do the same. Probably also solves the problem of falling trees. Will do it from next year on (this year I don'T have any as my lady is not with me ;) ). Merry Christmas!

Regarding trees - you can also get a tree with the root ball, and then plant it after Christmas. It then also becomes an outdoor Christmas tree for years to come. ;)

When I was a kid, and then I did the same with my kids, every year we got christmas pj's and open them on christmas eve so we could wear them to bed. I just love watching your guys videos. Sometimes I make the mistake of watching them late at night when I can't sleep and I end up waking up my hubby. Lol. I try so hard not to laugh but it just doesn't work. Lol.

Every year my husband has had to cut off some of the bottom of the tree so our tree topper will fit, except this year! This is the first year it not only fit, but has a double top! So I have two tree toppers on it!

My idea to keep your tree standing is to use 10 pound test fishing line. Tie 1 or 2 lines to the top of the tree and tack or staple the other end to the ceiling. The line is almost completely invisible to everyone but you.

Absolutely love your show, I have watched them everyday. One small thing, Christmas trees are a renewable crop. They are grown for this purpose. You are not hurting the environment, so get yourself a real tree. We have been in North America for over 200 years, yes? And there are more trees 🌲 here than when we first arrived. Tree farmers know how important it is to keep growing more and more trees, you need not feel guilty.

@johnnytheprick He showed his face in a live. They just didn't post that live as a keep it up video. They have said they will do another reveal, as a posted video, coming soon. I am still waiting, as are many others. We will see, I suppose. May be a Christmas gift to the viewers or a New Year's thing, we'll just have to wait and see, I suppose. The live was for those who were available to watch when it was live, but those of us that weren't available just missed out, I guess.
