Q: What is the name of my best friend? A: Jeremy Q: Name 3 of my Cars? A: 1969 Ford Mustang, 2008 Honda Civic (2-Door), Ford Ranger, Toyota FJ Cruiser Q: What gun do I carry? A: Barretta 9mm Q: What is my Nationality A: Croatian Q: Why did I call myself Defcon-3? A: Defcon-3 = Is long-term goal originally when starting the channel a security guard company and you would call that company 'Defcon-3 Security' because when you were a kid you saw a old militarized Jeep with a personalized license plate that said Defcon-5. It was memorable and it stuck in your mind, you researched the meaning and found that Defcon-5 was a military term. You researched Defcon-3's meaning and found that it meant "A State of readiness" and would be a great name for a security guard company. All the best man, love the vids. :)
Hey man been watching your channel a lot as a fellow armed security officer you inspired me to find an armed position that pays good and I’m almost supervisor now God bless!:)
@@soracore7 thankfully not all companies care about face tats I made sure I got one that just wanted me to work hard and wouldn’t judge for my appearance

@@defcon3security782 i probly wont use it much anyway i mostly stop people from killing themselves in the hospital in mental health units. pretty upsetting gig man
I got my security license by chance, unexpectedly. I was looking for a job desperately and I got in contact with one of this under the table company where I worked for weeks without license, it was then applied for license and I got it so easy. It was a job I dislike of no reason at all. But now I’m very happy with the job because it gives me time to study. as well as less stressful to my body after shift completion.
I'm glad to hear that man I absolutely wish I would have knew about security back when I was in college I would have gotten better grades been able to study more
I’ve watched a lot of your videos and I believe the DEFCON 3 way of life is being dedicated and passionate about what you do in life. Having a go get it Attitude always raising the bar. Telling yourself you can do better and above all knowing your worth. Did I get that one?
Although that is definitely something I live by that is not the meaning of defcon 3 but I got to give it to you I do try to live that lifestyle that is the defcon 3 way of living but what does DEFCON 3 mean in the sense of security
@@defcon3security782 I know on September 11th 2001 Donald Rumsfeld the secretary of defense increased defcon so I guess being ready for war? In a security sense always being ready of an alternative to protect yourself and the people around you?
Honda civic. Beretta p92 or something. Although theses 55 comments, unfortunately I didn't work my normal graveyard shift so I didn't see this get posted till now.
Hey, man. I’ve been a security shift supervisor for the past month or so. I’m looking into becoming armed security. IIRC, you also started out unarmed, how long did you have to wait before applying/getting offered an armed position?
I started out doing unarmed but as a now current armed security the pay is better just for being armed and I would highly recommend only working armed as being unarmed you are a huge target without protection . Apply to companies via linked in or Craigslist ads look up the reviews of the job on linked in! This guys channel is the reason I just went for it and got the highest paying armed security company I could find ! And I’m almost supervisor:)
@@greenmonsterpuppies well I went to security school and got my d unarmed license and g armed license as wel as concealed and I’ve been familiar with guns before because I hunt as well I also been homeless for years so my situational awareness is a lot . And I also took a hunters class so I know how to handle fire arms and do certain things bud that’s about it man . And everyday I research and I got to the range a good amount and always know how to handle my weapon and after 5000 rounds at the range clean it
@@Inkednfree333 haha I got you, thanks man. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of security school was this that you went to? Do you think it helped your resume when applying for armed positions?
@@davinmcdonald3989 Basically just realize you are not the police. You're hired to guard the clientele, or residents, or employees of a given location. You're not there to treat them like criminals, they come first. Arresting people is what cops do. If you want to arrest people, become a cop. In a cops observation, he/she is looking for people breaking the law. As a security guard, your job is to provide security and basically provide customer service to anyone around you.
Almost it's the Beretta 92fs but unfortunately somebody already answered it like 2 hours before you I'll make sure I have more contest soon though and thank you so much man you're right it is an expensive gun but when I bought it back in the day it wasn't that expensive

Hey Mike, is it better to work for a large company or a small company in your experience? Don't want to name specific companies but you know who the big boys are. I'll probably start applying in January 2022.
