Tuned back into 2:50:00 when I had to split. I see Dave uses the Fluke 867B! I've been using the Fluke 123 (basically the same thing) since the 90s!! They are in deed great, but pricey at $1-2k each.
Dave, I heard the JJ803s is a more fragile tube and should not be used in combos. Although heads do sit on vibrating cabinets which you would think cause the same problem. Do you agree with this?
In the studio where you can hear everything.....different tubes make subtle changes in sound sometimes can really effect the last 25% of the eq controls how they respond..
