To answer Siyeon's question, YES it actually does give us strength. Like not only your songs but just your pictures, videos, text messages and your existence alone gives Insomnias a lot of strength and motivation to go about their day. I'll never forget the day I accidentally listened to Piri while I was waiting for my exam results anxiously and thought about how good the song was and wondered why Dreamcatcher wasn't popular yet. That song really distracted me from thinking about the exam lol. Through Dreamcatcher, i got to know of Mamamoo and G-Idle. 3 of my favourite Korean girl groups. Your songs are exciting and brilliant. After years of being underdogs and struggling, you finally had your win with Maison and that put a teary eyed smile on my face. Through you also, i became a fan of Sera Ryu. There was one time where I was crying because of some family issues and I went to search for one of Dreamcatcher's song (if you're curious, it was Tension). After listening to the song, I felt more optimistic and perseverant about my situation. Another example is when I listen to Dreamcatcher songs while battling with other players in a game, it really really does give me strength! HAHA, I sound goofy but it is the truth. In summary, it doesn't matter if I'm feeling happy, sad or angry, I can always go for a Dreamcatcher song and it really does help if I need it. I feel that Dreamcatcher is an example to be followed and I am immensely proud to be a fan of the group. To be honest, there are many times when pop music can be disappointing, because sometimes the artistic side is drowned out by commercial interests and the desire to make something overly simplified hoping that it'll go viral, but Dreamcatcher is different. The group is bold from the start, bringing something different to k-pop, and never giving up on having high quality, very well composed songs. Music feeds my soul and when I first heard Dreamcatcher I felt an instant connection. Their songs at least to me are about the human condition. Life, love, beauty, pain and everything else that divides us and connects us. Their music gives me hope especially when I listen to Sahara. Whenever I’m going through a difficult time I hear Siyeon singing, “I can get through everything” and in that moment I take a deep breath and remember to have faith in myself because I’ve made it this far and I will continue. Since you asked, I want to tell you about the time Dreamcatcher gave me the most strength. In March of 2020, my grandfather died just before everywhere started shutting down, and I was far from home. I was supposed to return for a family birthday party, and I was very determined to go specifically so I could comfort my grandmother. Instead, the party was cancelled, everyone had to quarantine, and I didn't know when I would get to go home. Everything felt very dark around me. The only time I didn't feel scared, angry, or hopeless was when I was watching Dreamcatcher videos and listening to your music. I was very lucky that Scream had just come out, so I watched that music video over and over (really I watched all of them, but especially Scream). All told, I must have spent hours in my room just focusing on absorbing your music. I had been following the group since You and I, but when I look back on it now, that time was when I really became an InSomnia.
This girls don't know how their music save me from my anxiety. As an adult, unexpected I experience it a lot and when times that all I want is to do nothing and just sleep, Dreamcatcher music gives me positive energy to take it easy and go again . Being a kpop fan since 2007, i have listened to so many groups and songs. Been part of a number of fandoms over the years, but ever since i discovered Dreamcatcher since Maison era, been obsessed. And to answer Siyeons question, yes, your music does give me strength. Especially since not a lot of groups have songs that tackle real life issues, their entire discography has at least one song that people can relate to.

Stumbling upon dreamcatcher while song hunting was the best thing that happened to me. And, at that time I was only new to the world of kpop when I found out about them. At first, the concept of rock and nightmare was quite new to me so it didn't click at first but the more I listened to their title tracks along with their b-sides, I slowly gravitated towards their music. That's also when I found out that not many people knew them, which made question me why? Their music is good. Their choreographies and vocals are amazing. Their chemistry as a group is just more than coworkers or even friends. They're family. Then after, I became a stan. I see them as role models and their music as inspiration. When I need to feel hyped up, I like to play Dreamcatcher’s title tracks, but when I am feeling down, I listen to the ballad b-sides “Emotion,” “Lullaby,” “괜찮아! / Trust Me,” and etc. It is like a warm hug. When it’s raining, I play “Rainy Day.” When I miss Dreamcatcher, I play “I Miss You.” When it’s July 7th, I play “July 7th.” Hehe life is nice with Dreamcatcher’s music.

If all songs in the world were to get demolished forever and I could only take one song to preserve, I’d say Starlight. Ive only been an Insomnia for a year, but something about Starlight speaks so much to me. Idk how to put it in words but it is truly one of my top comfort songs to listen to. I feel like if I had a bad day listening to Starlight would instantly boost my mood up.
