I can’t edit so I’ll add. I put duty because I’m a Benedictine oblate and it is my duty to God to do my chores for my family and customers as if they are Christ. I’m just not good at getting to the next level... penance, fasting, etc but I need to get there for the conversion of two people I love deeply.

As a Traditional Catholic convert myself, I completely agree. Ad Orientem and Altar Rails would change everything... Many younger priests that I talk with seem to agree, lets pray their fervor for tradition isn't extinguished before they're given the chance to make these changes!

Thanks for bringing this up, been having a lot of discussions with TLM Catholics lately regarding this very aspect. It’s like Catholic Vs. Catholic apologetics in an attempt to ‘Convert’ one another to their charism (when the other doesn’t need conversion, but support of, and a sincere and constant deepening of their personal faith lives), it’s terribly prideful, and just frankly - terrible. And a lot of justice without mercy being delivered via these people, exactly the ‘judgy’ catholics who push other catholics who are on the fence to get off on the wrong side of the fence. Big Big difference between being the administrator of ‘admonishing the sinner’ with love and mercy vs. Doing so and delivering only justice, which is tyrannical. Treating non-TLM Catholics as equal to protestants absolutely needs to stop!

@@Prohortico Speaking from experience, I have internally raised the stakes so high (because they are) that being overly zealous creates that effect. Not good. Let’s stay on the Ark, live the sacraments and get more animals on the Ark. Ave Maria

@@jimmyrumney4379 Personal experience as well. My wife and I also have 5 kids, are cradle Catholics, have been exposed to almost all liturgical styles, and attend the NO in our small rural Canadian town as that is literally our only option within 1.5 hour drive. Many TLM Catholics tell me I should be driving an hour and a half… basically that we’re risking our salvation by attending the NO, and that the 3 hour round trip is the only viable option for salvation once one truly realizes the profound spiritual benefits of the Latin Mass. My life experience regarding the Mass has been similar to Gabriel’s in this video - but my wife and I are are cradle Catholics who’ve come from good homes, and did missionary work etc. My wife had an instantaneous and miraculous conversion at WYD in Toronto in 2002 when she made eye contact with St. JP2 from a few feet away - and it genuinely saddens me to hear some TLM Catholics even slander JP2 (AND his implementation of the Luminous Mysteries). I’ve attended TLM in the past when available, the Ordinariate Mass (which I prefer), but attend the NO (and hopefully a more reverent version if available). We are all on the same Ark, and as St. John Bosco said, we are anchored to the pillars of the Eucharist and the Rosary. Let’s not allow the Lion’s Pride devour the meekness of the mice. I pray you have the wisdom and courage to stamp out this attitude when (if) you see it emerging in the TLM community you’re part of.

Anyway, God Bless you… and FYI - I’ve been putting up with a lot of ‘holier than thou’ Catholics from the TLM in the last few months - started with a phone call to a new province’ homeschool association as we also homeschool and we’re discerning moving our family, and the Lady I was speaking with is a TLM - and when I told her we probably would only consider driving 2 hours to that Mass (where there’s a lot of other homeschool families) about once a month - the call ended shortly after that, and I haven’t heard back. They literally don’t want their kids hanging around with other kids who’s families attend the NO. I’m not making this up. It’s very dogmatic and sinful in their pridefulness. I’ve had enough of these ‘good Catholics’, and I’m letting them know it.

Genetic memories are real too, bro. But in cases with memories with seemingly no physical or genetic connection, you would be surprised how often people go to witch doctors or mediums or other pagan hooplah. My mom conceived me after going to a witch doctor for fertility, so who knows what kind of evil spirit stuff is going on with people who deal with past life memories. Think of your ancestors going back 4 generations. That's 32 people! Do you really think not one of them did divination or spiritism type stuff? Now think of other people throughout the world. I don't go to the Charismatic center, but I am one of the most Charismatic people you will ever meet. I am also one of the most traditional people you will ever meet. We must be both. Pentecost was real. Tradition is real. Do people get carried away by both? Is there bad theology in both? Yes and yes.

@@gabiafterhours I use to do the same thing when I rode bike to and from Mass and work. It was the only time I ever had for the Rosary at the time. I have gotten out of that habit since just before the plandemic, and now it appears another Plandemic is brewing.
