YOU HAD ONE JOB -- please show the appropriate grind size, WITH SOMETHING FOR SCALE, like a coin. You zoomed in so close that it's hard to recognize the scale of the grind. There's no reference... just a smooth glass bowl. To me, it looks about the size of instant coffee 'grounds'. I have to turn my grinder all the way into the 'French press' grind settings, to get there.

I have one question in regards to my Moccamaster coffee brewer. Why does it brew for 45 seconds only and then shuts off for 15-20 seconds? It just keeps on repeating this sequence until the brewing is finished? Is this normal behavior for the coffee maker? I never remember it doing this when it was bought New. I cleaned it out with a Coffee Machine Descaling & Cleaning Solution by Tupkee.

Does anyone here in the comments use knock feld 47? My hand grinder's suggested "V60/drip" settings are 2:4-2:8. I'm going up to 3:2, which is French press territory, and still water backing up over the filter paper with grinds. 😢 😢
