Yes, we do in fact read the comments - for better or worse haha. This one was just too good to pass up.

From the time I was 19 until I was 30 I was a three (3) pack a day smoker. I joined the Army when I was 21 because I couldn't find a job. Right after my 30th birthday three things happened almost simultaneously. First, I failed a PT test and had to be put on remedial PT, that was killing me because I was out of shape and winded from smoking. Secondly, I went scuba diving in a rough surf. We had to abort the dive and I didn't have the wind to get myself out of the surf and into shore. My dive buddy got out and then came back out to get me. Lastly, my then 3 year old son, pulled an ashtray off the table that shattered on the floor around him. He was barefoot. I stopped smoking cold turkey and I became a runner, which I kept up for the next twenty years, until I had to give it up because of damage to my back from Airborne school caught up with me. At that point I converted to being a gym rat. I am now 70 years old, I walk 3 miles every other day and I am told that I look 50. The whole point of me telling my story to you is, stopping tobacco and alcohol when you are young will pay huge dividends when you are old. I am fully retired and living the best days of my life. I have my physical issues, but I am still able to take a three day tactical rifle course and go hiking trails in Sedona, AZ. As someone, who has "been there and done that", I have this to say to you. If you want [real] quality of life when you are older give up the tobacco now. It is never too late.
