I also upload CH content and always see comments like "countryhumans are cringe bro" or "countryballs are better" even tho i hate shipping and im just trying to make educational content using CH, people always send hate comments because the CH has a bad reputation because of ships :/ so let's join together and stop this! Proud non shipper here! The most you can do is make the countries friends :) that’s what I did with Philippines and Malaysia! The only thing with this is that the countries just have some sort of positive history or be allies!

For example North Korea x South Korea or Russia x United States...💀

Finally, someone that speaks up! I do ship them (However, IT IS STRICTLY platonic, and I research beforehand), but I swear the shipping is outta control. People have to realise that they're bring a whole nation, a whole culture, and turning it into a love story. Many animations' ship is acceptable for story reasons, but country humans are people from a country without a story, and they often hate each country or people, so I think it's not right to allow ships. I hope this fandom's perception will change😓
I think this fandom should focus more on depicting real life events as humans to help people understand past significant events and history better. I think that's what it should've been at the start. Country ships arent just shipping two characters, they are shipping 2 countries with over thousands of people who resonate with their country, its wrong to ship them in an unethical way just for fun, if you want to do that do it with your own original characters!
In my opinion if you have any CH ships at all, do whatever you want as long as you take it in a lighthearted and fun way, but shipping enemies is a big NO. It's also weird either way because shipping countries ain't the best idea too, im from Argentina and used to have a CH ship with my country in it, it was ok for me but ehhh it doesn't mean that it can't offend some people, though i think it's more offensive when ppl ship enemies😓
