Cool! It's interesting how the Amtrak pictures all look the most accurate. I bet that's because Amtrak does not have that many different kinds of equipment, which resulted in the images that the AI wanted to put together not conflicting as much as with other kinds of trains.

Interesting how many of the steam locomotives ended up with 2 headlights. Also, the hilarity of AI trying to do text never ends.

The motion on the steam locomotives is the stuff of nightmares.

I love how the AI tries so hard to do the walschearts valve gear or even try to do normal train wheels and fails horribly

When seraching "train" you will hope for a good starts but instead its gaved you random image of a mixed of a thai locomotive

Great video! If you're going to do a part 2, I suggest mixing railroad names with classes of engines that they likely didn't roster, such as Canadian Pacific GG1. For some reason, dalle mini/craiyon did a much better job making fantasy GG1 schemes than actual PRR GG1s in my AI Generated series a few months ago.

Honestly, as a rail enthusiast from Thailand. I swear that almost all the results generated from the prompt 'train' are Thai trains! (Except for the picture at 0:32 which resembles a Japanese commuter train.) The first, the second, and the picture at 0:44 are woeful attempts to draw an Alsthom AD24C diesel locomotive. The pictures from 0:34 to 0:40 are obviously a General Electric UM12C diesel locomotive. The picture at 0:24 is a woeful attempt to draw a General Electric CM22-7i diesel locomotive. The picture at 0:20 is just a random passenger train. But I can make an outline of Thai carriages out of it. And the pictures at 0:18, 0:26 & 0:28 are THN/NKF diesel railcars!

So ai did a 2-8-0 wheels right! But not the rods 3:38

I find it hilarious how AI can make stunning images of people and certain objects, but still struggle with creating proper text on images and creating vehicles (and getting the proportions right).
