People be accusing lawyers for charging shit amount of money when they literally cover your mess, 24/7, get slandered by the judge and the opposing counsel during trials, while you be sunbathing and enjoying vacations with your family.
@jbrkjferkjbekjb apart from trials, I don't think clients gotta be there for paperworks and CM. Afterall, 90% of a lawyer's job is researching and doing paperwork, doubt clients would be sitting with em 16 hours a day doing all that.
@@rigby3283 kinda, but you sorta underestimate the stress that clients go through in dispute matters. it involves their personal lives (not the lawyer's) so most of them wouldnt simply go vacationing and sunbathing without a care about the case... a lawyer who isnt empathetic to that wouldnt be a great one.
I’m a lawyer and yes, it’s true. Prepare to work like a dog for little thanks. There are certainly positions where you get paid fairly but they are fewer than those who work you to the bone and expect a “thank you” for the privilege of being able to work grueling hours. This industry is not inclined to treat people fairly and kindly, so be prepared to fight for your place and set boundaries on your time and sanity.

Helping people is the best part of the job. The law is very difficult for most people to understand and it gets ever more complex with more legislation and case law coming out all the time. As a lawyer you might not always be able to give your client the outcome they want but you can explain the legal position as it pertains to them and help them achieve the best possible resolution to their situation.
peoples entire lives can often be in your hands. do not take that lightly. This guy is eerily similar to the walking interview of the older gentleman who was asked what are you thankful for and his answer was; I'm alive! be thankful for that each day, no matter what.

I wouldnt become a lawyer for the money id become a lawyer because i myself have suffered the pain of injustice and the feeling of powerlessness in being able to do anything about it and would want to make sure with a passion that you dont have to go through what i had to
Theres this stigma going around that lawyers make a shit load of money and they are comfortable in their careers. When i did a little research i was mortified by the amount of work these people do. Corpoorate lawyers are guaranteed to work 80+ hours a week, even if youre just starting. They get paid a high salary, and rightfully so. These people essentially live to work. I see it as an investment, and if you dont have the patiencd for tedious work and dealing with high stress situations/individuals for the majority of your day, dont bother.
I am an immigration lawyer and specialize in Asylum, it is a gold mine! I don't know how these asylees get money but they are willing to pay huge fees to become a US citizen.

Une question de forme que j’aimerais soulever, on voit déjà que vous ajoutez plus d’images, ce qui est agréable, mais en ajouter encore davantage(images réelles pas photos stock) pertinentes en lien avec le propos, sur la famille royale, les rues de Londres, Paris, ou bien les instagrams des gens comme fait ici, ajouterai réellement une dimension démonstrative à ce qui est communiqué à l’oral. The thing that discourages me is that i wanna be criminal lawyer but i dont wanna defend criminals and that my parents dont like laywers for that reason
I am a Lawyer and I can boldly tell you that myself and Oluwapelumi went to the same Law School. I am Joe by name I can assure you that being a Lawyer in Nigeria is the sweetest thing that can ever happen to you. The only problem is there re lots of secrets to be learnt about psychology and human nature in addition to discipline, dedication and commitment.

@@rigby3283 facts - people don’t realize how easy it is to be charged or sued with something. When they feel the weight of the state and entire police force and their resources - they goin love their lawyer more than their mother.
