in steve t videos "how to do a guitar flip" lesson number 1 never do a guitar flip with les paul or any heavy guitar, it won't work. and he's right haha i can't stop laughing tho
There is a relatively newer band that came onto the scene called Saving Vice and they are bringing back this style in a way. Look up the song/music video by them called "Hell Here" and it's pretty much the revival of the crabcore and metalcore sound imho.
Although it was a great time, but I can't see this ever coming back. Just like any genre, it fades from the media but remains underground and still exists. We will have a mix or this style stacked with other styles.
Damn. Bands just have an insane amount of rawness when they are just getting off the ground. Asking Alexandria is no exception. They definitely meant business back then.
At least they all look like a band though, like the Beatles or bands from the 70s and 80s everybody had long hair they kind of resembled each other, all the outsiders can trash the scene but at least the emo bands all had a certain vision that they all stuck to where they were able to have the music and the look and pull it off well
i bet if you told em that their lead singer would lose his voice because of his lack of care to his body and was no longer able to play their best songs well ever again i'd bet they would laugh
@@Melkor0410 Yeah but Asking Alexandria is clearly a bigger band and has had a bigger influence on the metalcore community. Plus I think they play better and expanded further compared to Attack Attack
The good AA days.. In my opinion I'm glad danny left, though I thought he was ruining AA big time.it just wasn't his style and he seems happier in wrh. I am excited to see who the new guy is!! Hopfully the new guy brings them back on their feet.
He's doing ""BIGGER"" things now than screaming for AA they used one of "We Are Harlots" (The new band he's in) for WWE Monday night Raw as there theme now) he's went total mainstream now. If you're gonna start a metalcore band, and give up half way cause you had creative differences, give up screaming, give up reasons to scream later on don't be in metalcore vocalist. Its not something to take lightly put your all into it. Show you're actually serious about it. When you're life is fucked up all you can do is scream.
We'd all love to see danny doing this again...but sadly ever since he had ripped his vocal chords he no longer can perform screams of this level, its much to painful for him to do. plus the threat of long term damage to his vocal chords
His vocal changed, but he's a lot better as a performer now, he doesn't get drunk before a show like he used to, I'm happy for Danny and accepting the new changes :)
For all those people saying they are bad live, you're just basing your opinions on the frontman. The guitar and drums were spot on and all guitarist did some awesome choreography. Even though Danny's performance wasn't the best he still is an amazing vocalist and works hard. Listen to run free live and that might change your mind.
so many things went wrong form sam dropping his pick, ben over swinging his guitar to hard, and Danny not having shoes, and Danny picking the mic little late, AND ME NOT BEING THERE :(
racer24t they all attempted to synchronize certain things like jumping head banging and different moves. they saw it as them being different and it's one of the things that got them noticed and known for. well that and Danny's voice.
