Metal or Not? Episode #12
One of the UK's premiere metal exports, Asking Alexandria, released their brand new album 'The Black' on March 25, 2016 via Sumerian Records to rave reviews. Touring in support of their new music, the group hit Toronto on March 5th as part of the "British Invasion Tour" and floored all concert-goers. Just ahead of the pandemonium, we did an interview with the guys and played a fun game of METAL or NOT? with Denis Stoff (vocals) and James Cassells (drums) who shared some completely comical stories involving shitting in mosh pits, bed wetting and more.

I feel like everyone in the band is so much more open, talkative and outgoing now that Danny isn't around to steal ALL the attention (heALWAYS had to be in the spotlight). Not to hate on Danny but it's nice to hear from everyone in the band.

On the topic of Music Pirating, I was talking to a producer that had just done a presentation at a local auditorium and my question was "What are your thoughts on people pirating your artist's music?" and his answer was "Well, if you want to get your music out there and to get known, that's fine." rather than "oh no that's horrible." I still think it's a horrible thing to do to people, but he put a different perspective on it.

***** yeah I know that it's their job and I didn't say they shouldn't get paid for what they're doing ... but some people are not able to spend money , that doesn't mean they shouldn't listen to music. I don't think that college is the same thing. Anyway I'm just saying that music piracy shouldn't be a bad thing .The artists can make money by the concerts and from people who can afford to buy their music.

IknowHowTo ShoutYourMouth my view point on this is, I use it to find good bands and if I like you enough then I'll go to your concerts and buy your merch. l just went to a circa survive concert recently(which I discovered by downloading them, for free, over ten years ago) and spent around $300 for the tickets/merch I got at the concert. that was also the third time I've seen them live and the 2nd 10 year anniversary of an album, which the last I spent about the same. so they actually made money by me downloading their music for free.

I'm definitely a member of AA I've been listening to them since they first started and they have always been a good band from Danny to Denis, for anyone who compares them YOU CANT they have different sounds I'm sure some people is gonna say Danny is better just because trend but fuck that I think Denis is pretty damn good myself

+Josh Stephens Calm down mate, he corrected himself right away. The use of such expressions is a society issue, everybody says inappropriate things sometimes. Besides that, the man is not even english and they are exposed to the media. It is something that should change, but I think you're giving it way too much significance.
