Danny's vocals are so much better live now.

Danny's voice had a personality. I know the rest of the band are amazing musicians and I love them to pieces but Danny was the only thing that kept them different from the other Metalcore bands of this annoying scene. He had soul and he had the right kind of everything when it came to vocals. It saddens me that he lost interest in this amazing band. My only wish is that this relentless touring cycle with rough up Denis's voice and he will embrace his own voice and not try to sound like your typical Metalcore singer.

He sounds like Corey Taylor a bit now while screaming. I like that actually.

Danny is a top notch vocalist, all through this song there are killer highs, fantastic cleans, and some solid lows. His problem is he gets bored, so he doesn't sing parts and changes them up and invents new vocal melodies and walks around aimlessly and makes the audience sing.

2020 and i still enjoy (and miss) this Danny, look at those cleans (2:00), those screams (0:18) and those silences (1:30) lol

I heard this song "To The Stage" by Danny and by Dennis version, both of them has a great vocals but for Danny he has a vocal character and Dennis not, Dennis just try to sing like a Danny and he can but not like a Danny. Thats my opinion \m/

Idk what the fuck you people are talking about... sure he went through a bit of a voice change but he still sounds great live, he just does his own thing and changes things up a bit, something that a lot of bands do. I think thats what makes live performances so much cooler

My biggest problem is there are points where Danny just looks bored or really tired. Other than that, I love this new vocal style. I mean yeah the recorded version is pretty good too but I just feel like this is different and thats a good thing. I would take his new vocal sound over the old one any day when it comes to them live. But I'd be lying if I said the old way didn't sound better recorded. But they guy has damaged chords, so who cares anyway. Might as well just move on and accept that this is how Danny sounds. Oh by the way, the other guys in the band aren't doing too bad either. I thought I'd give them some love.

Hes still able to pull of vocals like in reckless and relentless, its just their new album sound has changed so much and they obv try to get into a more 'generic' direction, where they can attract more people with their music

Danny Worsnop is not getting worser and worser, like somebody here say.Since 2013 he really improved. He is trying to make growls and can make it better than 2013, they sound weird yes, but he has damaged vocal chords, so its no wonder, and that he sings more and drinks more shows that he takes care now of his chords.

Absolutely solid cleans, love his dirty Voice. Not that generic Highpitch-Thing everyone is doing. And his screams are sick. I´m happy he´s not just doing this high screams like he did years ago. Better than ever!

I hate people saying Dennis can never beat Danny on this or that song, no shit, it's not his song! It never sounds as good when someone else sings it! It goes the same with how Danny would never sound good doing anything off of The Black, because it's Dennis there, not Danny.

I love Asking Alexandria, but i have no problem admitting that Danny is awful now. He just can't perform that well anymore. His screams are still decent, but he's always trying to be this rock n roll kind of a singer nowadays and he often replaces screaming parts with singing and it just doesn't work. And that stuff he tries to pull like at 3:33 just doesn't work at all. He even stops singing sometimes and he'll start "talking" at different parts like at 1:34. He's a lazy vocalist now, but that's just my opinion.

He's trying not to scream like before anymore, because that's what broke his vocal chord, plus his voice changed. I personally think that Asking Alexandria's new album and new style sounds much better than before, is something different and that make it great man. Thumbs up if you think the same

He cant scream anymore really, but when he does the mid/low screams its a bit like Corey Taylor, but it doesnt work. I think he should stick to mainly clean now, going back and doing the old songs doesnt suite his vocal style anymore. Plus he missed huge chunks from the song which in a way ruined it.

you guys are crazy im loving the deeper screams 1:13 and he can actually sing with vibrato which almost no metal singer can do. he did seem winded at times but ive been checking out the other bands live videos in the suggestions area-----> best one so far

They are fucking insane live, saw them last Monday on the first show of their from death to destiny tour in Brussels, it was really the best night of my life, the feels he puts in his voice, insane

The way this song was performed completely killed the song. This was one of the few songs I actually enjoyed by Asking Alexandria, and the vocal rendition Danny performs here is absolutely horrible, and barely even went with the music. If I was a member of this band, I don't know if I could even enjoy getting up on the stage and performing like this.

In a way its a shame danny hasn't retained his old style of vocals, I doubt its down to capability because every now and then he'll open out the epic lows and stuff. But thats rare. He still has some immense highs that he'll use fairly regularly but he tends to incorperate his harlot style rock vocals into the songs a lot more now, especially in places where highs on the songs would be. Although I say harlot style they do use those sort of vocals and instrumental to suit them on the newest album so I guess its half and half really. It'd be awesome to see them go back to some reckless and relentless low growls again, but with their newer sound the songs don't have as many opportunities to suit those vocals. Although I do love dannys beastly mids he produces on from death to destiny though, they seem to be the most comfortable screams for him and what he uses live most, and they are brilliant by all means. This is just my opinion. I guess this is just how bands evolve over time, theres no complaining, I love every album by them. Asking, in my opinon, have got a lot better as a band over time. Every one has their preferences. But at least theres diversity that you can listen to with AA. It happens with loads of bands. BMTH being a good example for vocals. Linkin Park with general sound. Even OM&M's newest album is quite a lot different from their previous.

It's hard to compare Denis and Danny. They have total different styles. Danny's is way better at harder/ screaming whilst Denis is better at those high pitch singing notes from stand up and scream.
