Let me know which advice resonated with you in the comments below! Link to join my free entrepreneurial newsletter: www.hustleclub.co A lot more free stuff in the description as well :) Have a great day! -Charlie
The first guy summed up the 2nd generation Asian American mentality nicely - "I can't waste the opportunity of coming to America that my parents made sacrifices for." That is what drives many of us.
@@pijinz5963 First generation is usually the parents, who get their citizenship first, then the kids are second generation because they are typically born in the US. I'm assuming these people were born in the US. However, if the entire family all naturalized together, yes, they'd be first generation Americans.
Charlie - I worked for many years with your mother and I know for sure how proud she is of you. After hearing so many stories about you from her, I am so glad to see the success you've had. I'm also a (former) Bruin, so when you went there I was really happy :-). Continued success and give my kindest regards to your mom.
I will forever appreciate this channel, you’ve helped me and my family a lot, your videos, advice and lessons are inspirational helpful to us, I now earn every week. You’re such a blessing to this generation, we all love you
I really enjoyed Aaron’s responses. He embodies the wisdom of those who strive to learn something new each day. His ability to recall past learnings and gracefully articulate them as short but meaningful life tips was quite impressive and admirable. Thank you for sharing, Aaron.
very refreshing to see marlene's take on things as she is much older than the general demographic in this video. assuming her school is her main source of her financial success, this would mean she was 43 when she began to realize this success. Although the young rockstars out there ought to be recognized and complimented, I find something special about someone who makes attempts over decades to win and eventually succeeds. kudos to the team who put together this guest list, and video!
Really cool to see other Asians following unconventional pathways and becoming successful. It is true that we are pressured to pursue the traditional STEM pathways, so it's refreshing to see others out there killing it doing non-traditional careers/business.
Hi Charlie! I just want to say thank you for all the great information and videos! I am currently working two full-time jobs to support my wife, who has an illness, watching your videos, has helped me realize that this is not a burden, but a way to strengthen my character, discipline and motivate me for success. I cannot thank you enough and wish you and your audience all the best!
A lot of folks have been going on about a January rally and said stocks that would be experiencing significant growth these new year season, any idea which stocks this may be? I just sold my home in the Boca Grande area and I’m looking to remunerate a lump sum into the stock market before stocks rebound, is this a good time to buy or no?
@@stellaadams593 I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a invt-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a invt-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 1.5million
@@gowonjake True, we’re only just an information away from amassing wealth, I know alot of folks that made fortunes from the Dotcom crash as well as the 08’ crash and I’ve been looking into similar opportunities in this present market, could this coach that guides you help?
@@patriciacarlos Sure, the inv-coach that guides me is CLAUDIA TRINIDAD RIVAS, she popular and has quite a following, so it shouldn't be a hassle to find her, just search her
Awesome video Charlie! Even though I'm not Asian, this video was very entertaining to watch and super inspiring. You got a great group of people to interview for this video.
As an asian myself, this is very inspiring because there's so much we can relate in this video coming from a traditional Asian family when it comes to career/success. Thank you for this content Charlie.
Awesome to see an Asian version and community. It's great to see similar cultural values and childhood and what to aim for. Nice job man! Would love to see more!!
Hey, Charlie. This is very inspiring. I had a very difficult year in 2022, like depressingly bad. And this really brings that energy for me to rebuild myself. Thank you!
"People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed. Similarly, when somone is failing, the tendency is to get on a downward spiral that can even become a self-fulfilling prophecy." -Tony Robbins
Dam , Charlie , inspirational, your generation. Is younger I’m 47 yr old . We grew up , wishing we was more American or white .. now , with RU-vid and more representation, Asians can feel like , we can do what we want and contribute to America , as a whole .. Thxs
See, as a first gen American w/ Eastern European parents (Macedonia) I LOVE watching this. The advice is similar to what I've heard and this is really inspiring good juicy note taking for integrating into my life.
This is a great video, Charlie. Very inspirational and very motivational! The people you interviewed are very intelligent people. It is refreshing to see this type of thing happening with young people. I’m so glad you did this interview. It was very interesting and informative. I always gain information and knowledge when I watch your videos it gets me motivated to run my business more successful every day. I appreciate you and thank you for doing this, I am working towards leaving a legacy for my family and my children’s children. Everything they said resonated with me. I do a lot of things they talked about and it really helps you get your day going and be more successful throughout the day. Fantastic video!
Wow, I can see a lot of good advice here. I am very proud of all of you for doing a wonderful thing than others. Maybe it takes you lots of effects to have the position right now so that is why your advice is valuable to me. Honestly, I get stuck on my journey for a long time just only try to be myself. But now I realize no one can help me, I must create my destiny and make it happen.
Everyone always says to invest your money… but no one really says how to or what to invest in… and then when you try to look it up it’s just a bunch of scams or you do it yourself and doesn’t end up as well as you think. I think it be nice to make a video on these things
I love this type of videos, it's so motivational and encouraging to listen to successful people and realize they all had to fight through hard times. BTW, is there any chance your next tour could be along the coast? Haven't been to California in a long time and cruising next to the ocean is one of my favorite things to do in California :-)
Awesome video! It's important to emphasize that East Asians are very hard working and perseverative folks with a lot of stamina compare to other folks on Earth. Perhaps that's why Japan and China are where they are..
Hey Charlie love your work. Quick request, can you try interviewing people on a H1B visa who’ve managed to start their own businesses? Possibly are millionaires now.
Is it possible for you to showcase some older entrepreneurs? Like people in their 40s and 50s? Or is that a rare breed? Thank you for making these videos!
It is so Asian that you had to ask what their parents thought despite their success. If you asked black people (I'm black) we'd say IDK, or our parents would support us no matter what, or we don't talk like that.
i feel like these guys are all evidence that its only possible to reach this level of wealth if you start young. is there any advice to make up for lost time/starting late?
Marlene wasn't super young when she started seeing success! Also age is relative and let's say a 40 year old still has so many years left to "secure the bag". Obviously the earlier the better but success can be found at any age
Sacrifice is the cheat code tbh. Also the first guy recommended a book called Atomic Habits. I would recommend a book called The Power of Habits. Don’t sleep on this info
Watching this I started to laugh a bit thinking, you're creating a new narrative, it would be absolutely hilarious if as parents this generation ends up "pressuring" their kids NOT to become doctors and lawyers but entrepreneurs 😂
