His comment was that Pakistani people hold an attitude that they dont want to improve their lives, but also dont want to see anyone else improving. It is quite a narrow minded view, it is steretyping - it would be equivalent to me saying all Northerners in the UK are stingy and penny pinchers. Yes it is applicable to some, but it is unfair to say its all. It's the typical response of someone looking to blame someone else, instead of realising there are shortfalls at home. For example, as a British Pakistani, I wouldnt blame my problems on France, I would look at what is my government doing for us.

Basically the guy in the barbershop just said that “They don’t want to stay happy and they don’t want us to stay happy, they want to stay in conflict” etc. In Haryana basically everybody has some family or somebody they know in the military so it is expected, but i think it is expected for any country that is in conflict with another country, nothing personal really

I found them absolutely disrespectful. Speaking in your mother language and taking liberties with the fact someone doesnt understand is damn right rude. Im pretty sure this didn't happen when you travelled in Pakistan 🇵🇰.

To each his own, but India just seems like a horrible place to travel compared to Pakistan. Pakistani are much more hospitable, far less racist, just better in every way. This is backed up by watching 100s of travel vlogs and personal experience with each peoples.

A soldier and his job doesn’t represent the people of Pakistan. The situation between two soldiers representing opposing forces will always be different. Common sense. Its ignorant to assume that a Pakistani soldier should build ties or succumb to Indian relations (and vice versa). This will defy their entire purpose of guarding the border. They can’t be drinking tea together and removing their guard.
