Maybe this is to be expected, but when I started asking this IRS scammer tax questions, I realized he knows nothing about how taxes work in the United States. Watch me call scammers live on twitch: goo.gl/uhpWGT
@@tdoheron LOL, you need to watch the video :) It's very funny because the scammer said he was from the US, then at some point said "i am an United Citizen" or something like that lmao
There are also 2 emergency numbers. 911 where most people call and there is a secret number: 912. I learned that on the Simpsons, the episode where Homer joins the Stonecutters.
Trust me if you aren’t waiting 5 hours on hold you aren’t talking to someone from the IRS Got one better than that: Florida Department of Unemployment. You could birth a child and put them through college before they get back to you on hold. If you weren't retired before you started the call, rest assured you will be by the time you get off the phone.
The fact that he kept this guy on the phone after he realized he wasn't going to scam him for just as long or longer than the amount of time he tries scamming him is commendable. Well done.
You're right... That guy was definitely under the influence. How sad. I admire your heart. Instead of being cold hearted, you spoke to him and tried to help him.
A better question would be "My cat will become two years old this March. Can I still claim him as dependant on my progressive second amendment schedule?"
This sums up Indian culture - you don't need to understand what your customer says, just say yes sir. It happens with Rickshaws all the time when I ask "do you speak English?" They say "yes." Then when they get lost and can't communicate with me I realize they can't speak English at all.
This is by far my favorite scammer video! You actually got him to tell you what he does and admit that he's a criminal so you would give him information about the IRS that he can literally look up online in 2 seconds it's just crazy how they don't care and they're just there for the money and I'm so glad that you are doing this so people know
Sandy DiVa I was thinking the same thing. I imagine a hot call center with no air and at least 100 agents... all lying in the heat. That’s why they get so angry...
@@arichalevas2298 He sounded like a guy from India who learned French at an early age, picked up the accent, and later learned English in Scotland with the French-Indian mixed accent and a hint of Scottish.
That ending really hit home for me… I’ve never scammed anyone or anything like that but I personally know what it’s like to not recognize myself in the mirror and be inside of a lifestyle I hated. But, I’m glad to say that I’m taking those positive steps everyday like Kit was mentioning at the end of this video and I’m so thankful for content like this. Love ya, Kit.
One time I called "Microsoft Tech Support" and asked them why my battery kept draining too quickly. They said there were hackers on my computer stealing my battery. These people prefer victims who do not know little to nothing about computers or taxes so they can be more easily scared into falling for the scam.
It happens to people of all ages. Each time I think I'd be smarter than people who fall for this but that didn't stop me from getting burned by a prepaid gift card scam. Thank god it was only $25.
This was one of your best yet my man. We FINALLY got to see you come face to face with one of the guys completely as yourself while you give them some real honest advice from the heart. Wow. This was a treat.
Not neccessairly true if you consider the world instead of USA only. I don't file any taxes or declare any income, because i started working recently and all my income comes from my job, and my paycheck comes in already taxed and everything. If i had other sources of income i would have to declare to my government how much i've earned during the year, and they will take however much i owe them. This is italy btw
@Alex Sokolov i'm afraid you didn't get anything of what i wrote. Of course the indian scammer isn't working for the IRS. He has said that he doesn't file taxes, and i'm telling you that it doesn't automatically mean "tax evasion" worldwide, i couldn't care less about US only
@Alex Sokolov sure, but since we all know from the start that these are scammers located in india, that know basically nothing about what they claim to be or are supposed to do, we may aswell bring something else to the conversation
That fake ZIP code you gave him is in Atlanta, near to the "Garnett Transit" MARTA stop. He then says that's the form he uses to file his own taxes. WTF is this scammer on about?
Lol the IRS would have all your information like occupation, income, employer, address, SSN and bank info to accept or send payments. That's why these scams are so obvious.
You sir are MUCH more nice to these creatures than they deserve. A family member of mine committed suicide in 2012 because a filthy scammer tricked her into giving access to her savings account and withdrawling her son's entire college tuition. Losing his mother drove him to homelessness and heroin addition, we haven't been able to contact him since 2014 when he thumbed it out west, said he was going to California to "get better". These people have ZERO regard for the long term repercussions of the scams they pull every single day. A lot of them are Hindi and believe in reincarnation, you should start telling them that in the next life they'll end up coming back as a dog (it really messes with them), and maybe thoughts like those will plant the seed to get them to stop. Great content Kit!👍
Joshua Pratt wow, I’m really sorry to hear that! I hope your family will hear from him soon! Also, it might help get some sense of closure if you look into Jim Browning’s content. He has exposed countless scammers and even dismantled an entire call center operation that made millions at others’ expenses.
@@mke_gal thank you honestly... I've seen Jim's content and respect the hell out of the work guys like him do, however I really believe he shouldn't blur their faces and names; personally I don't think ANY criminal deserves to "hide" behind the anonymeny of "personal privacy" and wish he'd spread their identities to the whole internet, maybe IF their family and friends knew what type of "job" they're doing this kind of thing would stop. Seriously though, I truly appreciate your condolences and hope that you never suffer the same.
Agreed, especially when they accidentally drop the drawl and revert to their native accent for long periods. Tbh I'm getting a slight headache listening to this video lol
@@markfox1545 Oh, you mean you've never heard of the term "cognitive dissonance?" It's not a "big word," it's an actual phenomenon. Truly smart people are well-read and knowledgeable enough to recognize when someone is making a point. Now you take you go back to the sandbox while adults are talking, lil Marky.
You know, as funny as your video was, I really did appreciate you having a heart-to-heart with that guy at the end, granted he didn't listen to you. But the fact that you tried to get through to him, the fact that you tried to be serious with him and tell him that he is better than this, that I think they need to hear more of. As much as I want to beat the living crap out of scammers, they do deserve a chance at Redemption.
Nice for you to let him know that he should never SCAM people.Very good video.Maybe he will think twice ,next time.May he not ever do it again. With the Good Lord being with him,he will be a little more on top of what he is doing ,should never have been.Blessings always for your work for elderly.
This is one of the best ones I’ve seen yet. I Love the fact that you do these videos to benefit people who get to watch them and to learn what these scammers are all about. And I hope that maybe Michael will take your advice and find another job
A typical sign of Indian English is the lack of articles: "He is professor", "It is matter of great importance". The automated text in the beginning is a great example.
That's untrue. It's not a lack of articles, it's the lack of paying attention in the English/Grammar glass in elementary/middle school. I am an Indian and I can speak English correctly, without grammatical errors and that very weird Southern twang, although I am a little bummed about the latter.
As a tax professional I appreciate this so much 😂 I’ll never forget the day I got a scam call from the “IRS” and I was just like “oh really now? Someone’s going to come and arrest me? Hm funny because I’m a tax professional and in 99.99999% sure I’ve not only filed and paid my share of taxes. Also the IRS will not call you. Nice try” 😂
This person does sound drunk 🥴 And like an actor doing the WORST Accent I can’t even place. Like when actors are in low budget movies and want to sound foreign but dont know where they are from
You were so right. This guy was slurring his words so badly not even his accent could cover it up. I think he was so drunk, his higher brain logic couldn't make sense of what Kit was saying. That's bad to try to scam someone while drunk. To bad,.. more of them should get knock down, drag out drunk and then read their stupid script.
Never ever give scammers correct information. Give them false information to make it harder for them to scam. By telling him it's April 15, correcting his "United citizen" and what credits are will just make him a better scammer.
The scammers don't evolve. They're simply too stupid. Take the SS scam which is always involving an abandoned car on the Southern border of Texas with traces of blood and cocaine. They never change the script to keep it fresh. They're too stupid.
@@w1tchmom They aren't bright, but they might take a reply and show it to the person who wrote the script for them, and then change it so it might make some sense. I answered one Russian love scammer by calling her, "My dear prevaricating little skank" and told her it was a term of endearment here in "my country". Maybe he/she used it on the next potential victim!
Technically, it isn’t always April 15. It could be up to a couple days later if the 15th falls on a weekend, so he didn’t give the guy accurate information for each year
Did he... seriously.. ask for his scam victim to teach him more about the government he’s trying to impersonate so he can scam better...? I’m dead. 😂😂😂
The "angle" that they are using is that they know he's a RU-vidr and twitch streamer and they may be "bad" because they are scammers but he is worse because he makes money from them. The flea on the dog is worse than the dog that stole your dinner kind of deal
This became really interesting. Imagine if a news crew walked up to a guy on the street who was covered in other people's blood and holding a still-dripping knife, to have a candid and polite interview.
It takes the IRS nearly a decade to track down people who made fortunes and didn't pay at all. The idea that they are pouncing like wolves on people who are a few months late on a couple hundred bucks is just insane.
Because they're usually from India, I have fun wasting their time slipping in as many references they won't get, like famous serial killers. Like my name is Ed Gein, i live on Jeffrey Dahmer drive, etc.
"Every single day I make positive steps that benefit society and don't just do things for myself!" How I wish more people had that attitude to the world!
You did great. Had composure under stress while putting this man in his place without loosing your temper. I learned something from this. Thanks for the lesson.
Lol the scammer said “ ok I have given up on scamming u , I just need That u teach me about IRS so I can get better at scamming coz this is my only job and it would take me time to get other job , please teach me about IRS “ lol the shamelessness is applaudable 😂😂😂😂
However, neglect the chance that these guys would give up on scamming people. What you said at the end was inspirational. Kitboga, you are doing an excellent job on stopping scams. Keep it up. Thanks!
I appreciate how you manage to defeat scammers without dehumanizing them. Some other scambaiter streamers will just insult them until the scammers give up, which is generally a cruel process. You're doing good work.
I had an IRS scammer call me and tell me that the IRS was suing me. I asked when I was going to be served since I've never heard of being notified of a lawsuit by phone. Some sort of heavily-accented expletives were then shouted into my ear before I heard the line click. 😆 When confronted with the most basic questions their whole scam falls apart.
This was funny until the second guy literally admitted he’s a scammer and then started digging for more info. That just means every call they get smarter and more scammy
Goodguy Cwyzz they don’t get smarter they been doing the same stupid scam for years now along with a social security one where’s someone stole your identity bought a car in Texas and left blood and 22 lbs of cocaine there. Unfortunately it’s only the elderly that fall for these scams. They target older folks, it’s sad just bringing awareness to this is making all of us sharper and harder to scam.
The deepest moment I’ve seen on your videos at the end. You’re an awesome guy @kitboga from what I can tell. Keep doing your thing and we’ll keep supporting you however we can. -Respect
"Are you sure you're a farmer?" Shoot... maybe I should double check... uhh… tractor, barn, animals, crops, house in the middle of nowhere... selling my harvest is how I make a living, harvesting is how I spend my day... yup! I'd say I was a farmer!
It's actually kind of interesting that he dropped his act and tried taking to you. He sounds like he wants to talk to an American that knows what they're doing and how we see and think about it but he can't say what he really wants because his bosses could be listening. I wonder the tactics these companies use to get people in the door and wanting to work for them knowing their stealing and hurting people while also breaking the law. I'm sure they're lied to also or given BS. It kind of makes the people of Indian seem like they all want to try and get over on people and scam, but I hear a lot of India actually hates these places because of the fact it gives India this preconceived idea of being a place filled with people trying to screw people over. I really hope India's government really cares and it trying to do something
@@cgduude Exactly. I used to believe most of these people get sucked into this believing it was something legitimate. The truth is that's just what they say when they're caught. They're sociopaths who have no empathy, and they go into this to make money. They have nothing but contempt, not sympathy, for the people they successfully con.
@@HIK_48 to be fair, that guy is presumably at least a manager since he wasn't a first level caller. There's an episode on Reply All about this kind of thing and it sounds like they try to recruit desperate people who think it's legitimate work, then strong arm them into staying.
The manager is there to keep guys like this busy. This way they dont call back and take time away from another scam operator at the call center. Kit went along with it probably for the point of the video rather than to stop scammers.
I want you to know, life has been so serious lately. The whole doggone world has gone crazy. Your videos are such a welcome change. I'm binge watching! Haha
@@DJcyberslash I do. They go down so smooth and tasty. Lann's first comment was nice and spicy. Got to be careful, though. Don't want them comments to be too spicy, lest they stain my granite teeth.
@@FormerPessitheRobberfan India's internet is heavily regulated since 2000, the Indian parliament created the Information Technology Act to provide a legal framework to regulate Internet use. Search engines like google don't work the same there. Which is why these people usually have no frame of an idea of what the US is like other than social media.
@@evolicious umm, this is bull crap. Yes, the current government is trying to restrict free speech and yes, stuff like porn is not easily available. But to say that I can’t access info about the IRS, that’s just wrong.
I am in a foreign country and had to call the IRS on a non 1-800 number. At $3 a minute, I was on hold for almost an hour. I finally got ahold of someone and told them I needed to pay my taxes. She put me through an entire rigamarole to verify who I was (did she think someone else was going to pay my taxes?). 90 minutes and $270 later she said "Oh, I can't take your money, you have to call this 1-800 number for that...... the fact that 800 numbers don't work from here did not seem to be her concern.
Here's what his thought pattern went like, 1. Just ignore the questions, go on with the scam. 2. Deflect, ask why are you asking these questions 3. Make up the answers so you don't look dumb lol
