I’d get Itachi, Minato or Neji back, mostly for how great mentor they would be to the new generation against Otsutsuki threat. I mean imagine Itachi mentoring Sarada or Neji mentoring Himawari… they would be monsters

Neji's surgery to mend the hole on his chest after he fought Kidomaru, was done with Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu by using his own cells, to be exact his hair. A squarish spell formula drawn on the floor and Neji placed in the centre. The lock of his own hair was used to stitch the hole, controlled by the medics remotely using handsigns. Bandages used to wrap Choji in hospital had spell formula written on it, and there were flames floating besides him. To draw poison from Kankurou's body, Sakura used some sort of poison-bending jutsu. Those are just very few examples of how og Naruto series blend or even replace modern technology by utilizing something that is clearly inspired by the culture of ancient Japanese esoteric mysticism, which was a thing at the same era with actual ninja. It felt more creative, magical, and for the lack of better word, ninjaish for me. In comparison, if someone who knows nothing about Naruto sees Boruto, I feel like they will raise an eyebrow after I explained to them that Boruto is a ninja-themed story.

The problem is that since the show gained peace after the 4th war. I don't know how they would bring that same intense plot where all other nations didn't trust each other and were fighting against each other etc. again. I was wondering how they would continue it since most of the nations are at peace after the war, so bringing an alien to the Naruto verse was an acceptable idea to continue the story. I would agree that I hold Naruto as a separate anime and Boruto as a possibility branch of it.

Not enough Neji love out here. Like, bro. Minato and Jiraiya already lived their lives to the fullest, and made it to adulthood. Neji got clapped outta nowhere, and never got the chance to realize his full potential. This is a no brainer for me.

I don't think Boruto ruin the legacy of Naruto. It has some great moments in anime. I'm definetly don't like a lot of decision making in Naruto (epecially in the end of it) Naruto has problmes, a lot of it, Boruto to they are both have a lot of problems... I'm don't fan of anime a lot of decisions making during anime was pretty meh and sometimes really lazy.

I think sarutobi did what he could cuz he probably didn't want the people to think he was pampering him or whatever. I'm also torn between minato, kushina, Itachi, jiraiya and neji to bring back to life just so they can see their grandkids, nieces and nephews and so jiraiya can see naruto as hokage. As for madara i don't think he'd be evil like before but that entirely depends on the caster at first cuz he can just resend the contract or whatever like he did before

Honestly I want to watch Boruto and don't see much of a problem. I played a lot of the Ultimate Ninja Storm games so now I'm finishing up the original Naruto anime to actually experience it and not just the game cutscenes and battles. Gonna move on to Shippuden but I watch both sub and dub and I know it's hard to find some for whatever reason. I really enjoy Naruto and I played the games a lot as a kid so now I'm experiencing the anime for the first time even though I know a lot of what happens but I still want to see everything, even filler! So I don't see a problem with Boruto and will gladly watch it when I get there in a long, long time 😅

The Ending of Naruto seemed strange with Aliens and at the time tarnished it for me, but with Boruto going into those storylines and fleshing them out I gained a new respect for the ending of Naruto so if anything it polished it up for me.

If we were to bring back characters right after they died, it would easily be Rin imo. If Rin was alive, Obito wouldn't fall into darkness and despair and work for Madara. Naruto would also not become the 9 tails jinchuriki because there is no reason for Minato to seal half of the 9 tails into infant Naruto without Obito as a threat. Minato and Kushina never die and Naruto is raised with parents and is respected due to being the Hokage’s son, instead of being bullied and feared by others. As a result the Uchiha Clan downfall doesn’t happen either, since they can't be suspected of causing an attack that never even happened in the first place. So yeah, if Rin is alive, then lots of other dead characters are alive as well.

I dont remember where I heard it but I vaguely remember hearing that Boruto (anime) was not meant for the older Naruto fan base. It was meant to attract a new generation of kids, and on that end I think they did a great job. They wanted to create a whole new world for a new and younger fan base. It's a bit of a backhand to older naruto fans, but let's make space for the younger generation.

As if the sage himself was the pinnacle to all truths. Good plot twist to see black zestu revising the stone to revive Madara. Shows even Madara was a puppet

Boruto is named in honor of Neji. Not because the creator couldn’t think of an actual name for Naruto’s son and decided to be like “let’s put a B there, that sounds good.”

I didn't even watch all of Boruto but it does answer the question on why the third hokage wasn't terrible. He definitely left Naruto to fend for himself most of the time, but so does Naruto currently to his own flesh and blood. Naruto has almost no time to spend at home and was sending Shadow Clones to do his family routines. And the only reason he hangs around Boruto now is because he holds a power that is significant in the story.

The only hokage worse than the third is the second. The Uchiha incident happened on his watch, but the second sowed those seeds and created edo tensei which caused a lot of problems.

I love Kaguya as the Final Villain. 10 Tails Madara was alright, but felt less cool than normal Edo Madara. Kaguya literally felt like a god descending down to conquer all. And she fitted insanely well with Kishimoto's theme of the story of Naruto delving more and more into Shinto Mythology, 9 Tails, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Sages, Izanagi and Izanami etc.. eventually leading to Kaguya, a low-level (but real) Deity from Japanese folklore & mythology.

Sakumo Hatake is honestly a great pick because there are so many speculations about his powers. The problem is it would diminish some of Kakashi absurdly tragic backstory but at the same time I was even thinking of bringing back Rin because my man deserves at least a little bit of love.

Man they have so much things left out. 1. Why is orouchimaru roaming free in the village and nobody is yelling murderer to him. And why isn't konohamaru confronting naruto about it that would've been an emotional moment if we got konohamaru slowly losing the respect he had for Naruto and him hesitating to train boruto and mitsuki. And we could of had a battle witgin the village against konoharmu and orouchimaru that gets him to lose his awareness his cool fighting in public that could get tge villagers in danger and naruto stepping in what would your grandpa think destroying his home your home. 2. Shikamaru training asuma's daughter showing her the ropes of being a shinobi and when she's ready telling her the same message asuma told him on who the king is on ehat we've been fighting to protect and if she can know what that is he passes asuma's lighter. 3. Boruto needs to start over start fleshing things out if they are doing what over 200 episodes where they could've put heavy hitters on the first 2 things I put down. Doesnt destroy naruto's legacy but the new writers are just like the Disney and marvel writers on putting out their own things when the material is right infront of them.

I think Hiruzen did a good job BEFORE making Minato the next Hokage. Most of his bad decisions took place after the death of Minato. Letting Danzo run wild was his worst mistake.

The way i was shouting at my screen for someone to bring back my boy neji😭. It would make so much sense too, we could have a side storyline of him reforming and changing the Hyuga clan, by becoming leader even though he's of the branch family, it would be so cool to see him truly overcome his assigned destiny at birth. And imagine Uncle Neji as Boruto's teacher and trainer, like broooo boruto would be so much stronger (better at taijutsu and better battle IQ).
