A lot more to like than dislike. It's a major place in the UK, great entertainment, shopping, retails, history, nice old and new buildings. Bad things - dirty, bad cyclists, needs better public transport.
Lived in MK since 1980. Love the open spaces, trees, red ways, decent (basic) public services, green areas, recreational spaces & roundabouts. Cuts down on traffic lights. Open your mind & forget propaganda & judge yourself.
It seems like a lot of the things people say that they don't like about Milton Keynes are not necessarily problems that are specific to Milton Keynes, but rather more wide spread across the country (and in some cases the world). The economy, the increase in social misbehavior, those are widespread issues. I don't live in Milton Keynes, but we are planning on moving there soon (fingers crossed!) What I like about it is that it has a good transport link to London, there's lots of green space and parks, it seems like a really great place to raise our child, a great cycling infrastructure and is well designed for walking or riding a bicycle instead of a car. What I didn't particularly like on our visit was the mall.
@@pauletteslifestyle5584 I'm guessing the "wow really" was in reference to my not liking the mall lol. It just really reminded me of being in an airport (Heathrow's T5, to be exact.). I liked the area outside the mall better than the inside lol
Great video and really good to hear some fellow MK people give their views! Been living here 18 years, best thing I'd say is the Parks Trust and how we have all the lakes and parks and open space here. Worst thing would be how the grid roads don't seem to be expanded out so it means as MK grows it's gonna get harder to travel around in the outer parts of town.
Hi Uphoriak thanks alot for your contribution, I really appreciate 🙏 I love the many lakes as well especially Furzton Lake, willen lake and Caldecote lake
Oxley Park, Whitehouse park, Broughton, Fairfield, these are some of the best places to live in MK . Gypsy-gallus just listed some of the areas to avoid in MK.
Hello.dear Thanks alot for watching my video In my opinion I think "Oxley Park", "Broughton", "Whitehouse park" and "Newton Leys" are the best areas to live in Milton Keynes
