In current spoken french we (quasi) never do the inversion. We use the same sentence for interrogative and declarative forms. Only the pronunciation differs with final high-pitched intonation. Not in written (or good) french of course !)
I have a French exam tomorrow and I'm watching Alexa's explanation on the topics which makes sense only when she teaches it...... Donno wht I would have done without RU-vid ..
This was super helpful. This helped me understand better, I’ve been studying french for 10 years. But I was learning other language also and french fell to the back of my head I became more and more shy to speak it. But could read and write it effortlessly. This has helped me understand more has my phrasing when speaking was off. Thank you x
Thanks very much for the lessons you are the best I learned interrogation, negation, answering and numbers for my exam which is tomorrow and is of 80 marks, there is 50 marks grammar and I am fully confident of getting at least 40/50 thanks for the teachings again I literally don’t understand anything what my French teacher explains
thanks a lot teacher, i'm a spanish speaker, from Mexico, and i couldn´t find an explanation about this topic in my language, but your video is incredible and is very easy to understand, Merci!!!
Hey! I have a tiny question, so when a question you want to translate starts with Are/Is (Are you french?) you need to use "est ce que" (Est ce que tu est français?) and when it stars with Do/Does you use the inversion method. right? or can you use any of these in either of this type of questions?
+Maggie Muñoz You can use both indistinctly. "Es-tu Français?" or "Est-ce que tu es Français?". "Aimez-vous les pommes?" or "Est-ce que vous aimez les pommes?"
French sounds a sophisticated language of the Aristocrats..... I am learning bit by bit from your videos lessons sitting in my small apartment in a small town in India. I am 82+ probably the oldest of all your students.
