That last couple was so cute. Such great taste to request Tchaikovsky's violin concerto, which is a beautiful piece in itself. And kind of a slick test also of Rob's violin ability too 😆
Well, he mentioned we went on his mission when he was their age, ergo, he understands the struggles like no one else. And by the looks, it seems he rolled the video in SLC, Utah...
Rob, if you were to go to a seniors home, they would LOVE it! Or a hospital or even some high schools in their music room. What an inspiration you would be to the music students! You could have played for us in our high school in the art room and I would have been supremely happy :) . Music is SUCH A JOY!
The problem is most musicians are struggling paycheck to paycheck, 95% of them simply can’t do that unless there’s some sort of monetary incentive. The music industry is rough😕
This is one of the best ad-hoc youtube content videos I've ever seen. Such a clever and unique idea. Would love to see you play more places voluntarily, like old folks homes, or homeless shelters, hospital (if safe), at a playground, maybe get invited into some random company's office and play a little show for them to brighten up their day. The possibilities are endless with this format.
My 7 year old just began playing the violin this year and it would be so inspiring for her to have a private concert. You outta come 20 minutes south next time 😅 She'll play Minuet 1 with you. She's got that thing down.
Love it.. those people that were like "ohhh I have a party to go to " ... lol, such loss... Rob IS the party... they missed out. The others had great times and a memory that will enrich their lives. :)
Rob was in beast mode to make sure the audience get the greatest experience! Every note was delicate and clean. One hat is not enough to appreciate such a performance.
Wow! He's really good at playing the violin I was impressed when he played the song "Hallelujah" that is one of my favorite songs he played it beautifully.
That is just so so fun to watch! I love that idea of 'at home live' concerts! Honestly when she played the piano and you played your violin.... my heart dropped. I loved it! ❤❤❤❤❤
it's actually interesting to me how emotional people get when they hear violin, as someone who played for like 11 years. people ask sometimes and i just play whatever i'm working on and they are like wow, haven't heard violin irl in so long ty Wish more people would share their gifts like this, cause i sure avoid it like the plague
I'd love to walk door to door asking residents if I could code a computer program for them in their living room so I could record their reactions and put it up on youtube
Oh my goodness! What an absolute treat! Since the pandemic I haven't been to a show. I can only imagine how amazing this must have been in your own home ♡♡♡♡
This is amazing, it must feel so good for you too to have a concert for live audience. Such a great idea, keep doing this, it obviously makes people happy.
I cried watching this..man, your playing is heartwarming. I miss playing violin just for moments like these, but since I've been sick with lyme I can't play, for a few years now. Sharing music generously for free is such an amazing act of love and caring for other people. Keep doing what you do, all the best to you!!
Dude I'm so grateful I came across ur channel. I've slept on the violin all my life, but I can't get enough of listening to you play. It's like sanctuary thru sound
Not sure how I missed this video but that was really awesome. I could watch one of these everyday. That was just a great idea Rob. Thank you. I miss playing so much. I had lost my job and ended up selling basically everything I own to survive. My violin which was my grandpa's that he got during WW2 was one of the last things I sold. It about killed me. Hopefully one day I will play again. These videos are very inspirational. Thank you.
Well that brought tears to my eyes. Love classical music. It occurred to me that I hadn't gone to a classical music concert for over 20 years the other day, despite absolutely loving it. I really miss it... kids and well life happened. I let my husband know how much I missed it and he bought me some tickets to go to a Symphony Orchestra Concert at the Sydney Opera House (Australia) for my birthday. Really looking forward to it. You can come to my house... it's just down the road 😄.
Regarding that last performance, was i the only one clapping and wanting to stomp my foot, or am i just that big of a hillbilly? Stellar job as allways rob!!
