Love how you answered the too much makeup question. It was very different and appropriate than how i expected the answer would be from you or others. Not only did you mention to experience around but you taught us how to make it less "cakey".

Gosh! I can totally relate to the girl that finds it annoying when people say that I'm wearing too much makeup! Most of the time I'm actually not and most of the people that say it don't wear makeup/don't know much about makeup. Even if I am, I obviously love wearing makeup and choose to wear it for a reason. I dislike it when people expect you to fit their preferences like in this case, not wear makeup at all. I don't understand why some people have issues with people wearing makeup. 😔😑

I had an issue like that before in my workplace, coming from my former manager. Well, needless to say he is a hardcore religion fanatic and one day he asked me why am i wearing red lipstick. Like, it is none of his business. I eventually ignore him and that is the best way : ignore them.

Me too! I get told that my makeup is too much all the freaking time. It used to bother me a lot but now I just ignore them. Yes, I have acne prone skin and I need that extra coverage. And yes, I love smoky cat eyes and bright lipsticks. I'm not going to change because of those narrow-minded people who feel like I have to fit their preferences. I get it that sometimes people don't really say that in order to make me feel bad. My best friends used to say that to me a lot but I always respond like "well, that's me!" and now they are more accepting and they even start to play around with makeup too :) I believe in people having the freedom to do whatever they like with their looks, be it girl wearing no makeup, girl wearing full face of makeup, or boy wearing makeup, as long as it doesn't harm anyone, it should be okay!

I too love the Name of the Wind! The series is my favourite by far and I adore Rothfuss' way of writing, it's so easy to just forget about everything surrounding and just fall into the story. Amazing!

My eyelids are like that too! I normally have a small hooded crease on the right and no crease on the left, but I did notice that there are two weeks (when extremely jet lagged) when I was sleeping unusually early and every day both eyes had even creases!

Thank you so much for recommending The Name Of The Wind! I'm always "hunting" for good reads, especially fantasy! So I downloaded it to my kindle immediately and I LOVE it so far. It kind of reminds me of the novels by Joe Abercrombie or David Gemmell.

I'm 4'10" as well. I don't find it difficult to find clothes.... I do have issues with shoes :( I have size 4 feet, so I need to search quite a bit when looking for shoes.

I have the same exact problem. I'm Vietnamese and Laos (my mom has bigger eyes, and my dad has "typical" Asian eyes.) one morning I wake up and realize one eye lid is completely larger than the other, and throughout the day it would go back to being a "monolid" which makes me highly insecure at school and in public. Does anyone have any advice to prevent these problems and such?

Hmm, my sister has the same funky eyelid behaviour. Sometimes they're both double (mostly when she doesn't sleep enough) but mostly one eye is double the other is a monolid. I'm pretty lucky to have two nice eyelids that are less visible when I sleep well and super visible after I've cried a lot the night before (mostly Kdrama, don't worry~) or if I don't sleep enough. Hehe funky asian eyelid problems~~

Hi Jen! That's so awesome that you've been married for over 6 years :) my husband and I have been married for about 4 and half! We are also Korean/Caucasian couple :) and I feel the same way about cultures coming together. Sometimes I feel like my husband is more Korea. Than I am because he just loves kimchi and almost all Korean dishes. I love Korean food but don't eat meat so it's hard to enjoy a lot of them! Can I ask how old you are? My guess is you are about 27 or 28 since you have been married for awhile.

I love "The Name of the Wind!" Such a beautiful book--also, if you enjoy fantasy, you should give Brandon Sanderson a whirl of you haven't already--the Mistborn trilogy is so unique and full of twists, and a good way to ease into Stormlight Archive, his longer, more epic-ish series.
