@@Nameless-bf7en….I mean, drag isn’t always female impersonation so idk what your point is….also what’s exaggerating how a woman acts? Don’t women act differently from each other?
I get the feeling her relentless cheer Is a cover for something darker. Her suggestion she hid in the garden and nobody wanted to find her. I'd really like to know her backstory.
@@mattwho81 I personally think she was a Dido Belle, an illegitimate daughter of a rich man - I think her father loved her, but his family hated and resented her (and killed her off)
@@jillybeanc Ioan Gruffudd (Hornblower) & Travis Fimmel (Vikings). Not to the level of my fangirling over Mat tho, & it's even weirder cos it's someone EVERYONE fangirls over :D
I loved the Kitty and Mary as friends question because really, I think their dynamic is a lot like two different types of Weird Girl in a class/grade finding each other and then being stuck like glue. (spoken as someone who was one of the Weird Girls)
Watching these interviews i find it rather surprising how: a) talkative (in a good way) Larry is. In most of his roles he is pretty shy, doesn't claim the central stage like Mat, Jim and Ben. b) how quiet Ben is. He only speaks when it's absolutely necessary, never interrupts, he seems so calm and pensive. In all his HH, Bill, Y roles he is some sort of self absorbed and bossy ruler (Best Henry 8 ever!) Or really loud rebel (Wallace, etc). The captain in Ghosts is just as bossy and loud. I honestly expected Ben to be the talkative one and Larry the shy guy.
I've noticed in interviews Ben is quite shy and fidgety in interviews. Where as Larry is quite confident in interviews. Though in a kids bafta interview there was a question of if they ever got anxious or something on those lines and Larry said all the time about everything. Which is the most relatable thing ever.
@@bumbleb5721 Tbh it probably stems from his upbringing. He grew up in a military household and went to a military-style boarding school from the aged of 9 which, by his own admittance, fucked him up for years and required therapy to get over. He's probably still got elements of that 'speak when you're spoken to' attitude from growing up like that.
I love these people so much. Ben sputtering the whole way through the teat conversation, the suggestion that Mary would watch Mister Maker, Lolly plugging stuff she's in (she was in one of the Mission Impossible films for all of five minutes). Just. Them.
0:40 how did you keep yourself occupied during lockdown? 3:50 for Lolly - would you be friends with Kitty irl? 5:30 since Kitty is always happy, do you get away with laughing when you're filming? 6:40 for Katy - do you think Mary ever addresses the trauma of her witch trial? 9:10 if you became a ghost, what food would you miss most? What would be your food club item? 10:30 if you had to choose a ghost from the show to haunt your own houses, which one would it be? 12:50 would Kitty and Mary be friends? 15:00 has Katy ever milked a cow or made a wicker basket? 16:50 what would your ghosts favourite TV show be? 20:20 have either of you seen a ghost and do you believe in them? 25:50 as there is a large crossover between Ghosts and Stath Lets Flats, which character from Ghosts would be best for Stath and vise versa? 27:50 if you could choose a building to be stuck in as a ghost, what building would it be? 31:20 if you could take anything from set home, what would it be? 32:40 if you could have the power of any ghost, which one would you choose?
Yes you are awesome, I hope that you get the cold side of the pillow, I hope you find money whenever you walk down the street/road, I hope your bath/shower water is the exact perfect temperature, and finally, I hope you get 30 minutes of ad free listening on Spotify
Who else is absolutely crying with laughter because of Larry saying "I like the energy of sets" I was like what the hell did he just say? Then I realised 😂
True that, I fan girl all the way from series 1 of episode one all the way from ghosts Even though he is grey around the edges, he still looks freakin’ hot!!!
Yes, finally someone who agrees. you don't see much love for the others its usually just people fangirling over Mat. But Ben is by far the best and as a bonus also the hottest
@@emmyjo720 Yeah, I'd probably agree with that- I was impressed with Mat's answer in this interview, partly cos it's exactly what I'd say, lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-He2AfIYWRJQ.html
Yay, they did a Q&A with Katy & Lolly! I love Katy, she was my fave support actor on HH, & Mary's my fave character, so I'm super-excited that there's more of her back story in S2! I'm Australian so I don't know when I'll get to see it :'( but I'm so glad they're making this awesome show, I love it so much!
@@ShineBrightEdits Yes, I've just started watching it- it's freaking hilarious! I love Lee Mack, & Katy's brilliant & adorable, & she _is_ absolutely gorgeous
Was just listening and thinking that Mary would have the best reaction to Derren Brown. "Who is this wizard, he need to stop or they'll have him". thank you so much for making these videos they are amazing!!!
23:18 This happened to me! Shortly after my grandma died, I started seeing her everywhere. I think a mix of the sadness of her death and my 7 year old, very imaginative mind, made me hallucinate seeing her all the time.
It happened to me, too, after my grandparents died in the same year (I was 26). It lasted for kinda a year. Apparently it is a way for the brain to mourn.
After getting to watch Lolly and Katy on Taskmaster, I'm really getting a kick out of seeing them in this show. Their characters are very entertaining and I can't wait to see what happens in Series 3.
I know time is precious, but please we need more of those Q&A videos. I so enjoyed watching them. Again, as Horrible Histories and Bill, Ghosts is such a great TV-Show and I'm looking so much forward to season 3.
“What power would you have as a ghost?” I couldn’t help thinking, “Farting”. If people could smell it, then they would blame each other... (I’m so childish! 😆)
Most of the ghosts are fascinated with food...it seems like Captain is the only one that is disinterested. And Julian missed booze even more...I love the scene when he helps Alison make a cocktail.
Put this series in the company with faulty towers , it crowd , father ted but think has the possibility to go on for some time , now after seeing all the first four series with wife in less than four weeks , only having come across the last episodes of series three previously in the last year . Well written , characters brilliant and possibilities appear endless
Thank you for doing these, very interesting and amusing. Ghosts is my favourite programme of the last two years and I'm very glad that it was recommissioned for a 2nd and 3rd series!
Robin is the best character in the entire series. Super underrated, every comment was genius! Especially in the wedding ready episode when he kept talking about monogamy and the joke about having cold feet! “Your a metaphor.” Hilarious! “Of course! I’m not an animal!” “Hey, you want some?!” I can go on and on..
Super underrated! How he kept trolling Alison in episode 1 is the whole reason I binge watched after that episode. Straight scared the shit out of her just because it was something to do 😂😂😂😂
Hi I think this lot are amazing and super talented I know I will probably never get the chance to meet them in person but they are all the reason I got though lockdown and losing a family member watching them all on screen has been a great source of comfort always making people smile Having been in hospital as well for most of my life I know I can watch horrible histories, Ghosts, yonderland or Bill and feel a whole lot better after watching it And I’d just like to say a massive thank you
i want her to watch some sort of really technical crime show like CSI. and then four series in shell be sat there like "watch this, there be nos water ''is lungs, t'was long since passed before 'e went in, that'un" cos shes learned all the forensics stuff xD just for of the clash with her entire character
@@marycanary86 LOLZ! I think it'd kinda fit with her character, like becoming an expert director in series 1 with the Byron film, but something sciencey would be super-funny. And the theme of horrible deaths has both comic & tragic potential...
"mary doesnt really have a sense of trauma" "if she addresses it we wont have that joke" "she doesnt need to unpack it for other people sake" larry: o___________o''''' rewriterewriterewrite......
Yes!! I wish Alison had told him who won the war- he's been waiting over 300yrs! I would've, but then I regularly go into random Ted Talks about history, so unlike her, I could fly it past the radar easily :D Yes to him reappearing tho, & as many random, properly historical (ie, pre-Victorian!) ghosts as possible, please!
It’s hard to notice on the show because she always has something on her face to make her look dirty, plus her hair is pretty wild and her wardrobe isn’t exactly form fitting either.
