Eritrea is a wonderful land and tourists would spend millions to see its wonders. It is hardly a surprise that Binman Girmay is such a great cyclist when we consider how he honed his skills on those roads with their challenging hair-pins!

I really wish there was no war between Eritrea and Ethiopia, and still together as a confederate states or as a country in peace. I feel like we could have been way stronger and wealthier nation united than divided. Anyway I all the best to both sides now.

Nice country with great potential. Very clean, spectacular landscape. However, the roads and towns are empty/no movements. This it clearly indicates that the economy is not doing well/i would say it'sdead. I think it is wise to collaborate with the neighbour ethiopia to kick start the economy.
What is the significance of independence? If the country shows any signs of development. I have been to Asmara University under the Derge regime, but nothing has changed. It is possible for a country to die. Wake up, Eries! How a country has been ruled by one dictator for over three decades.
