@@johnpixz5448 That's really not that high. It's pretty normal for people to take more than 20 tries on O&S, Gwyn, Manus, Nameless, Gael, Demon Prince, Midir, etc. with a few of those taking an average player over 30 tries.

This is what the respec option is for, though, right? Reroll your stats when you can't get any further using your existing build.

to be fair, for that one attack on his Dragon where his spear gets all lightning'ed up, and he slams it down, I haven't been able to dodge it once, and I'm fast rolling. maybe it's a directional thing, but the game shouldn't put unavoidable damage for certain playstyles either way.

@@user-vh7ks8px3s Have you ever dodged that attack with just i-frames? The only way I've done it is by getting lucky and being in a good position to run underneath the dragon. If you try to use just I-frames, the lingering Lightning will still hit you. I've beaten every boss on NG3 at this point. I know how to roll.

@@MrRattlebones640 yeah i somehow managed to poise through four kings, artorias, sif, and manus in my first playthough. I rarely rolled for those fights. Ds1 poise is kinda goated

@@MrcreeperDXD777 i was the opposite in my first, having virtually no poise save for my pants as i was mostly wearing the crimson set. I then got the lifedrain scythe and bled everything in the game with the blood resistance shield and ring (lifedrain builds up your own blood loss). Gwyndolin took me 5+, O and S took me 2 lol. The hardest boss after were the four kings (bleed resist) and Artorias (too nimble to build up bleed).

@@Azaezlle ds3 blocking is not nearly as worth it as ds1 blocking. Generally in ds3 it's better to dodge as you have omni-directional dodging compared to ds1, which makes it far more viable and reliable. On top of that not all boss attacks can be blocked, but all attacks can be dodged. Also you will still take small amounts of damage while blocking and/or will get knocked back unless you use a greatshield, which usually is too heavy for any real benefits. If Asmon wasn't going over 70% weight limit he'd actually have decent and reliable dodges with s instead of fatrolling through the whole game while mashing R1 with a heavy twohanded weapon and getting frustrated over dying over and over.

I havent played dark souls lll yet, but played bloodborne and I see that he is using an insanely slow weapon to do damage idk about you but really slow weapons arw shit when it comes to games like these becuase you never land a damn hit and they kill you after like the first 2 enemys you encounter on a map.

Midir took me like 10 tries to beat him, he's so dam tanky. The nameless king only took me about 5 or 6 tries. All without the aid of any summons.

I fought him at first, and I removed a third of his health bar, but i thought that he was too tanky especially at his legs and it's going to take forever to kill, and i read the note so I explored the arena and i found where to plunge attack him.

I killed it this way on my 1st playthrough. With greatsword it's pretty easy to hit her belly constantly

JASON Tsai you get a debuff while naked. Theres an inherent damage reduction bonus you get for wearing anything in your armor slot even the masters attire. So no you dont want to play naked.

Pontiff is weak against a good shield btw. It was my first DS and I was fat rolling till nameless. I was getting bored from dying so I changed the armor set and boom it hit me. I was soooo much faster. Like a revelation.

He managed to find a masive Strike damage strength weapon early in the game and swung the hammer until most things died. It actually works. At least until Lothric Castle where it stopped working. Strike damage really destoys a lot of pve in all 3 DS games.

The problem is that he doesnt know what he is doing and just wont give a shit about the weight. I focus my weight to be under 70. I only used Katanas in the game exept before the Shrine and in Yorm Boss fight
