@@Chrisfragger1 So being a dick about it is what people should do? How pathetic someone's life has to be to mock someone trying and being unsuccessful to feel better?
@@velukuzusama4224 it's called trial and error...you think ppl do no hits or no death the first try 99% of those ppl fail but guess what they don't act like the world ended and they have nothing to live for...he's pathetic....try again...trial and error meaning your gonna try and most likely fail so try again and again til you get it...
@@NoNoDontTouchMeThere except that's exactly what it was. This was during the dark times when there was no good wow content. (only bfa 8.1-8.2 and no classic)
His run is so slow. And knowing all the spots and stuff i would go to anor londo easily (i aint a pro player, but i think im beyond the average), and beat Ornstein with a black knight halberd or great club
For the first couple of hours I am really impressed with his game play he has improved geographically where he is in the game and develops a plan for most things doing a fresh start. I think it would more entertaining to see him practice how to PARRY, learning the mobs swing times to bring his gaming level to pinnacle.
@juter4397 I am not surprised if he spent a lot of time googling, the info that he got did take him far into the run, which is a good thing because I did want him to get far.
People think he jumped on purpose, I disagree, he was running and the blowdart dude blew the dart since toxic is OP in this game this prompted Asmongold to turn around and panic roll. However, if you panic roll while you are running then...That will prompt a jump and that is how he died.
@@senpaikaroo for sure. and his acting is so fucking annoying he's the best player in the world when hes stumbling through the game but then he trolls aand dies and goes s"bboohoo im such a victim blabla im so bad im never gonna maake it this is too hard for me" like a fucking bitch when it's obviously not genuine his acting really gets under my skin how everyone eats it up
He clearly likes the game, but i just wish he'd at least try other weapons/builds and see how much fun other things can be and how different the experience as a whole can be.
Shmandalf Even knights have options. Mine is a holy samurai paladin. Greatshield/Washing pole in havel/black knight gear with a couple offensive miracles and pyromancies.
When you realize someone has finished demon souls Bloodborne dark souls 1 2 and 3 in a row without getting hit once and not leveling their character once in any of the games.
Wait what?!?!?! Like literally all those games back to back? That is absolutely insane. Hell I couldn’t even make it halfway through one of those games without taking a hit
Asmon, you did good. There's a lot of ways to die for lack of skill, but you died to a random goof, not for lack of skill. You should try this again when you feel up to it.
i called it like Nostradamus, figured by the length it would be blight town. also guessed he'd die to gravity, while on his way out. but.....I thought it would be him rolling off the ledge, trying to dodge the guys with the huge clubs.
Props to Asmon for doing this live, I can only imagine how nervous he must have been in front of thousands of people. Fuck his cringe chat, bunch of haters
what he should of done was go through new londo, get down to the bottom of blighttown asap, beat qualaag then bone out back to firelink so theres no risk of falling on the way back up.
@@MrSeaguy1 it's mainly the camera movement with mouse being jank, but there are a few mods out there fixing mouse input and allowing rebinds and better target switching
@jordan5221 without mods, it uses controller emulation and messes with mouse input, adds smoothing/acceleration, harder to bind to keys, harder to switch targets, cursor can get stuck on, etc.
I have almost 200 hours of Dark Souls Remastered and i mainly played it on Keyboard and mouse. I think i only played like 3 or 4 hours with a controller but didn't get used to it so i switched back. Dark Souls 2 on other hand seems like it is a "controller emulation", so the movement keys is very weird and a controller (if i knew how to use one) would come in hand.
He doesn't even care for the charity at that point, he can donate all the shit. He was clearly disappointed to himself, his feeling and his skill that he died in a plain, avoidable way; it would suck less if he died fighting a boss.
His dying was nothing.. it's that he hated donating to help others.. this greed was his bad karma. I had a friend like this.. he was stubborn as hell and a killjoy .. have not talked to him in 20 yrs
i think we can all agree that he didn't intend to actually jump off of the platform and the reason he died was old game design in the form of bad controls, not lack of skill.
Solid attempt? A solid attempt would be if he got that far without cheese XD like GOOD Dark Souls players do when they do entire runs with no deaths >.> tbf after you've played it for years, every run is death free lol...
@@I_Crit_My_Pants he was clear that he would be using anything besides skips. And what the hell does "good ds players" even mean? Deathless is easy if you have 100-200+ hours and use an OP build.
@@filipraos8072 Lol proving you're an Asmongold fanboy again I see? I specifically pointed out that deathless WITHOUT cheese is easy multiple times in this comment section, meaning you're trash if you need to cheese just to manage deathless. You also don't need an OP build to do deathless easily, if you're not trash.
@@I_Crit_My_Pants OP build and cheese are 2 different things. And i dont care about discussing such subjective things with you. Better read my reply under the other comment you have made.
@@SuzukiCabs thats on him for making a bet when it's the first try Noone is gonna beat it only playing once ever and then 2nd time ever playing the game he tries a no death....ok he's stupid for betting 2k.....
@@Nick-78 some people have more difficulty with easier bosses and less difficulty with harder bosses. My first time playing I died to the Asylum demon once, but killed the four kings, Artorias, Manus, and O&S all on my first attempt
this game is 8 years old and people still dont know that u automatically get the master key when you pick the thief and then u can have a different gift whilst still having the master key
@@UniDeathRaven Actually you can't parry any attack. Every enemy has unshockable attacks. (you also can't spam parry as a meter builds up and starts a cool down.) Dodging is also something you can't legit do to avoid attacks (it's more for spacing and some unshockable.) since the enemy will just follow you with their attack IE: lock on. Definitely a harder game in most cases (DS3 is the easiest DS by far for most people.), it's the only game where I have tried a boss over an 8 hours, which i never went over like 2 hours on any one DS boss.
Ya no deaths but you can die to gravity and it not count....ok cuz that's still a death dumbass....he could've said no dying to mobs or bosses but he didn't so no deaths at all no matter how he died
Tbh I give him props for being able to go longer and not die by a mob instead he just goofed. I do that alot on Elden Ring and I feel like since he didn't die by a boss or mob he could've went on but I understand what he was saying tho
