I'm the nelf hunter who got dequeued on the swift zulian panther (the bane of my existence btw). I was dequeued in the mount off from April last year on the winterspring frostsaber, and did 20 days of dailies to obtain it in preparation for today. I have now stabled my army of alts outside ZG and will be farming it into oblivion until I have the panther.

As someone who knows nothing about any mmo’s his content is still so enjoyable

I feel like it would be really hype to watch and he can even make it a charity event kind of like the worlds first castle nathria was an otk event. I always thought the rules were stupid at the end. If your mount gets matched the power should switch, you're just constantly casting mounts time after time hoping the other dude doesn't have it.

The way asmon does the final two is flawed. The person who goes first will always win. Let's say person 2 has basically every mount in the game, but person 1 goes first. Person 1 will cycle through his entire library of mounts until getting the one or two that person 2 doesn't have. He will always be ahead in points. Once person 2 goes, he will get his one point easily, then be tied with person 1 who will cycle through his whole collection again. The way it should work is it should rotate once the person gets on the mount the other has. Example, person 1 gets on a mount, person 2 has that mount. No point. Now person 2 gets on a mount, and person 1 doesn't have it. One point to person 2, but it switches to person 1 to pick a mount. The way you run it is unfair and always, always benefits the person to get the first point. No matter who has more mounts. The first person always wins

These mount offs and transmog competitions are the best content in modern retail WoW. Please keep them going Asmon! I feel like if it’s in the beginning of the mount off (maybe within 4 rounds) someone who would get kicked for not having the called mount could stay in a bit longer by getting on a mount Asmon doesn’t have lol!

These are so good Asmond, thanks for the experiences. I've spent years on WoW but stopped playing after Burning Crusade. I remember being a level 18 undead mage when Warsong Gultch released, with the entrance being in the barrens. This brings me back man.

omg, this was so fun to watch. honestly, these mount offs always show me how I don’t have as many mounts as I want. it makes me want to farm for more as a side hobby. i remember back in TBC when I farmed for the talbulks, it was tedious but Nagrand was also so fun and open.

I have stopped playing WoW more than 10 years ago, after being addicted to it for some 5 years. Watching these videos I feel like an addict staring into the abyss, one step away from falling in. No other game has ever had this effect on me, not even close.

In the past you needed a Druid Attuned to summon the boss and I was a Warrior… I had like every Druid able to do that on my friend list… Oh boy, they already knew what was happening when I mensaged them 🤣 They made parade for me the day I finally got it, those were the good times that made this game special!

Anzu is the first mount I actively farmed after Baron's Charger. After that I farmed the Nether drakes. Not a single mount after that really excited me.

Me personally, I like to ride on dragons. So far i like riding the Heart of the Aspects, Twilight Drake, Albino Drake, Iron-Bound and Rusted Proto-Drake, Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger and Drake of the East Wind.

Honestly, everyone who gets to the top 10 is a way better Mountfarmer, than Asmon. They prolly got every single Mount by themself by endlessly grinding them... day in day out. Asmon gets a lot of support from his Viewers. 676 Mounts is still a fucking lot. But a lot from those 676 Mounts are at least half owned by his community.. no?

Hey asmondgold. I played wow a little man but I didn't know anyone and I didn't know to to play it. So I reached lvl 60 and just quit man. I didn't know to to set my key binds either. See I started when the new expansion came out so I was at lost man :( I would start playing again if I could find some cool people to play with man.

the rules in the final 2 make no sense. If player A starts, he keeps guessing until he gets a point. Then B goes until he gets a point. B can never pull ahead, he's always tied or down by 1. Instead, you should have A guess, if B has it it becomes B's turn. Etc.

loser Pov Asmongold will never be a mount off champion again, people have learned how to beat him even when he has unatainable mounts because there is so many new mounts in wow that he hasn't farmed or got himself that he will always lose now. he is scared to do a new mount off now that dragonflight is out because he will lose again and again. i love to got back to these old videos because in the past he would always talk shit in the earlier rounds of a mount off about how people didnt have a specific mount and now look at him losing his own hosted mount offs. haha its great for content sure but he will never be the top mount collector in wow anymore. 2023 and he still has yet to win his own mount off.

i use to mount farm with like 30-35 characters on one account id just run raids and events all day for drops and just had so much chances every week and day for every raid or dungeon
