I think this happened after they finally decided to kill the pigs and to preserve the meat they used 1 of there 2 jerrycans to story the meat and burried it to prevent it from rotting. Spoiler alert it dident work so instead of cleaning out the jerrycan that was before that used to clean there drinking water they decided to throw it away so now they only hade 1 jerrycan to clean there water and it wasent enough for all the woman. The medical team then finally hade to step in to tell them to use the 2nd jerrycan to get more clean water as the entire female group was dangerously close to dehydration. Cant remember the name but i recently saw a video by a guy who did a breakdown of incidents and prioritys from both the guys and the girls and until the girls finally desided to select a leader they ran around like headless chickens and very little was done.

It's not that they were dehydrated that was so funny, but a big part of why they were so dehydrated, besides not drinking water, was because they were crying so much.

Me and my buddy went into a forest that was off limits and we had this brilliant idea to willingly get lost in it because it was huge and looked like it went on forever and eventually when we felt lost enough, we tried to get back to civilization which took 3 hours. So much fun.

Done well it's actually a win-win for both the leader and the follower. If the leader can delegate tasks well then he'll be able to make the group function in such a way that no physical effort is required from him, with him getting by just using his mental energy and nobody questioning it. The follower only needs to put his body to work, and if the leader can break down objectives and redistribute workload in a fair and satisfying way, then he can turn his brain off and farm the dopamine hit that comes with clearing up tasks. And it can rotate, very often the leader gets put up with problems from higher management or he has issues outside the job (family, taxes, sickness) and he doesn't want to think, that's when he becomes the "sword" for someone else, and that someone can take charge and temporarily step up, and very often during this 'rotation', different skillsets and attitudes come up to the surface. And just like that, the torch has been passed, and a new leader is born.

primitive smelting isn't that hard. there are at least four potential sources of iron on the island. (1) ore deposits in hard rock since it appears there are volcanic rocks there. (2) biologically accumulated iron, e.g; bog iron. It seems you forgot a lot of things because you're so excited with seeing what you want to see. In the men's side, one of their best players went home on the 2nd day because he couldn't handle the disagreement between him and the old man. They had problems at first making the fire. But the graphic designer came in clutch with those glasses trick he did. The women were better in making the fire cuz there was someone there who made it multiple times without using glasses. The problem they had was maintaining it because they were disorganized. No one tries to take the lead. This was not a problem in the men's camp. Also the men did not "made spears and killed an alligator" lol. You made it sound dumb just so they can be more "manly". They trapped the alligator, which was more efficient. The spears they made was mostly ineffective, they didn't even think of making hardened tips with fire, which baffles me a lot.

It's ridiculous. I used to be VERY lefty myself but my God have I ever been left behind. Sometimes I have to literally go and watch old shows to enjoy myself and it makes me feel like a boomer. It's like only there I can find reactions or behaviors that more closely approach reality.
