It is part of the reason why I think McConnell should get paid a little to be on Asmon's stream. Asmon tries to have a balanced approach to wow content, so that he doesn't come off as negative all the time. But McConnell is like our wow Jesus and takes up the mantle of negativity so that they can discuss things to reach the middle ground. But without McConnell it will always start and end with the middle ground. In writing we call this beat by beat. If there is no back and forth and only overall neutral then it isn't fun to watch. So I wouldn't say either is half empty or half full guy.

i feel like asmongold should give mcconnell some money for being on his stream. hes basically doing work for him by being there. asmon may be the 'main' entertainment but when mcconnell is there its often like a duo-stream in which both play an equal part in the entertainment.

Hey McConnell, you're probably going to read this so ima just say it here, i really like you, i like what you bring to the stream, the way you and Zach play off of each other, the fun you 2 have and ofc the REEEEEEEEEs. The problem with the RU-vid comment section, Twitter, twitch chat etc. Is that people who just enjoy the content don't really voice their opinion, because they either agree or enjoy it. I for example am lurking just about every stream, watch the videos of the content i missed and enjoy all of it. But i never say anything at all, maybe that's a problem, maybe the lurkers should rise up and you'll see that a lot more people like you than you think

I honestly thought Mcconell would be the type of guy to fire back, with a witty retort or something, given how he seems to act on stream. I can't be the only one who kinda sees Asmon and Mcconnell as a Game Grumps style duo right? Like they're both good friends and funny as hell and can play off of one another very organically. They both have fans and people who dislike them but the important thing for the both of them to know and remember is the impact they're making. There's thousands of no-names out there trying to do what they are and don't get noticed. McConnell is playing his part in a duo of thoughts and opinions that many people tune in to watch and listen to. Best part of all is that it's entertaining to the viewer. My first ever video of Asmongold was watching him playing Darksouls and Macconnal was the best part of it. He served as the true antagonist in the way he pokes fun at how Asmongold plays. And it becomes better when Asmongold rages.
TBH I wouldn't be surpized if these two know they work well together. I have a friend that i talk with all the time and we are VERY much like asmond and mcconnell. We never streamed but when friends listen to us they laugh a ton. TBH i think asmond helps Mcconnell in some way, might not be directly but i do see asmond try alot to direct people to Mcconnell's stream. P.S. I feel like Mcconnell is very much a key part of Asmond's stream. I mean, asmond would be popular without him but Mcconnell makes the show that much better cause they work so well together.

I've said it elsewhere, and I'll say it here... Blizzard needs to create a new Asmongold NPC that holds dps/hps/tank tournaments. Not anything like the proving ground shit. A tournament area where it is everyone pushing as hard as possible to max their output compared to the each other. Not like the Org arena either. Nope. This would be just like Asmongolds tournaments on the stream. I would send the idea to blizz but we all know they would just say "Yeah, you think you want fun but you don't."

I personally like McConnell alot. Hearing him pop up on Asmons streams is always a joy to me. I lowkey wonder if he has some depression issues, as how he reacts to this situation feels like how I would with MDD were I in his position. I do genuinely think he does seem like a fun a nice person though.
McConnell’s streams are a real Treat, it’s actually like a fucking rave in chat, everyone is spamming PepePls and other emotes, and McConnell is showing off his sick Camera turning skills to the beat. He may only stream a few times a month but I prefer it that way cause otherwise it would become repetitive and boring, like you can’t party every damn day so I understand why he doesn’t stream daily. McConnell is genuinely the most entertaining streamer on twitch, he gets you involved in the stream even if you’re a lurker he’ll call out for all the lurkers (like me) in chat to spam emotes too it really feels like you’re apart of something special whenever he goes Live, so McConnell if you see this...THANK YOU!
When I first heard McConnell I thought he's just one of those "friends" that bring you down, because he was rather harsh to Asmon, but after watching more of their videos I realized that it's sort of a part of his character and they often play it up. I like him now.

I enjoy McConnell I usually don't read RU-vid comments since they are worth less than a live comment, I only say this because there is a massive disconnection from viewer to streamer + the faster the chat the harder it is for the streamer to understand what the viewers say and everything becomes chaotic.

McConnell is awesome and I don't understand the animosity, at all. He needs to just stream himself to realise how many people actually love watching him even with Asmongold not in the picture.
Mcconnell is just brutally honest and is a voice for so many of us who are just too lazy and hurt when it comes to Blizzard to even bother with them anymore. Sure sometimes he speaks without really thinking, but that is not a problem for me. It just proves that he's really passionate about the game. I also think he deserves more spotlight when it comes to streaming, he's contributing so much for the stream, he really deserves getting payed for this.
I sometimes think he does a little too much, but overall I think he is a good aspect of asmons stream. McConnell sometimes takes it over the top, and most of the time that is good, but occasionally I feel like it’s bad.
I do not want to say it in such a hatful way as some of the comments. But i have been subbed to asmon since he got the button and i find myself unable to watch when mcconnell is on anymore he just is not for me which is fine usually i would just not watch his stream. The problem here is its not his stream he is on.
McConnell will probably never read this, but the whole reason I even watch these videos is because he's on it. I usually close the stream/video if he's not in it.
