I'm personally just getting ready for them to just chuck like a legendary at him or something difficult like that for him to take down, like Ash's pikachu in those rare moments.

to be honest...if you are a OG Fan since day 1 (edit: it doesnt matter when u discorvered pokemon i guess), you cannot simply not love Pikachu. I mean, this guy IS literally our childhood. No matter which badass pokemon you love the most. Pikachu is what this Franchise and therefore our childhood is all about. right?

Congratulations! You have earned every bit of the 50K support! I appreciate the engaging content; the fact that it's relaxing is an absolute BONUS! I remember the early days when Pokemon first hit the US market and it was in kids meal toys and such. I remember having, I think it was a Poliwhirl tiny plush that I think I got from a mighty kids meal or something like that. And Charmander of course was mega cool to me. My favourite Pokemon from gen 1 is Mew, not only because it's so cute, but also because it has the genoma of all the other Pokemons. I've found it so interesting since I was a little kid, and even now that I'm a uni student I find it fascinating. Thank you for these great contents!

When I was a kid playing red for the first time my gen 1 team had Charizard, Onyx, Wigglytuff and Omanyte in the mix I barely remember my play-through but I loved those guys so much These days, Raichu takes the top spot! A very strong looking friend shaped Pokémon

Alakazam and Scyther were my standouts as a kid. As I’ve gotten older, Gengar has slowly became my fav in gen 1. The art is always so good and Pokémon unite help bring life to the mon I feel I never saw realized. Gen 1 is solid but gen 2 holds some of my favs to date. Love your channel. My go to nerdy asmr!

I love the sounds of Japanese Pokemon Cards. I don't know how they are different to western cards but they sound sooo nice! My favorite (although it's really hard just to pick one 😅) is Sandshrew! My favorite Gen 1 Pokémon just HAS to be Pikachu, I know I know it’s such a basic pick but I used to eat sleep and play with this pikachu plush as a little kid, he was my best buddy and I made so many good memories with him, and he was my starter or 2nd mon in most games after Crystal such as X, love the video btw Rainessa!! This expansion looks really really really adorable and cool ! I was waiting for Eevee, Pikachu and Bulbasaur ! Eevee is my favourite Pokémon from the 151 first Pokémons. I was happy to see the vaporeon and flareon cards ! But I need to agree with you the full art charmaleon is so cuuuuuuute it has to be my favourite card from tonight ! So happy to have seen this video ! I love it when you do those without the gloves, I know it’s bad because it doesn’t properly protect the cards but the sounds of your sticky fingers on the crinkly packages and the tapping with your nails for good luck is addictive ! My cat fell asleep as usual when after hearing your whispering for a few minutes, it was hard for me to stay awake but I needed to see Bulbasaur at the end ! He is currently my buddy in Pokémon Sleep 💚 Thanks Rainessa for every videos you make ! When I was a kid I didn't grow up with the gen 1 games, my favourite games were heartgold and soulsilver! I remember finding Articuno randomly exploring near seafoam island and from there I actually loved its design, definitely my favourite from the original generation 1!

awww what a great video! i think my favorite pull has to be the charmander full art card. like the canyon and those sun rays??? also it’s so hard to pick just one gen 1 fave, but if i had to choose, i think i’d say ponyta bc she will always hold a special place in my heart as the first pokémon card i ever got! my childhood friend played the games and collected cards and would sometimes give me her duplicates, and i remember falling in love with the ponyta she gave me 🥹 congrats on 50k!!! you definitely deserve it. i’m brand new to this channel but i’m already obsessed! if you happen to read this, i hope you sleep well 🩵🌧️

My favourite gen 1 Pokémon? There are too many. I'm gonna go with Charmander, especially after seeing you pull such a pretty card of the Pokémon. The episode where Ash & Co rescue Charmander holds a special place in my heart. It was also one of my first starters. Just love the little guy. 🥰

I can’t be distracted, when speaking about Pokémon, from the sheer force that shows the silhouette and design of Rhydon. I have a heartwarming memory of a Rhydon in Pokémon Y that had an Eviolite and was the mvp of my team. Besides ground is my favourite type, so shoutout to all the ground-type lovers.
