Darling, that was first a detangler and then a heat protectant….not hairspray. And, yes, you do want to brush it after applying to evenly distribute throughout the hair. Then she added mouse to first loosen and then hold the curls. Mouse is perfectly fine to brush through. Then she added more Gliss spray (the detangler and shine spray from the beginning) and again no worries, it’s fine to brush.
