Yuur tempo is some of the best in the asmr community, there are rarely random breaks in your sound, this is what makes you the GOAT of this kind of no talking ASMR in my opinion.
I like random breaks, I may even prefer them. Don’t get me wrong, this is great, and I love the no-talking aspect of it along with the typing sounds. But my absolute favorite ASMR is not completely even in the delivery of sound. I like it to be closer to realistic- sometimes faster, sometimes slower, sometimes with breaks in between. Even better if it’s slightly muffled and/or in the distance or background. Not to the point of being difficult to hear, but definitely in the background. Top it off with a mic that isn’t too sensitive- more of a low-fi sound or at least nothing that’s super-sensitive, and to me, that’s perfect.
Hi @@ronanwashere_ I can give you a little bit of a back story about my c-ptsd but there’s a lot that happened and I’ll just go over the main parts. My father was an emotionally abusive narcissist towards me and my family. He was also involved in a cult and tried to convince us that the government was after us and that we couldn’t tell people about the way we lived. He never took care of us for example he never got us things like fresh food and Hygiene products. I also suspect he was sexist towards women because my two brothers never experienced much of the mental abuse me, my sisters, and mom experienced. The mental abuse I experienced was awful. He would lock me in a room for more then an hour and yell at me about how I wasn’t good enough and he told me I was stupid and he would ask me why couldn’t I be smart like my older brother. I lived everyday of my childhood thinking I was nothing and not good enough for society. Today I struggle with physical pains from all of the stress of my childhood but I have been going to therapy to help cope with everything I went through. I have been finding ways to deal with the trauma and I have cut all ties with my father and I no longer speak with him. My message to you and others that might read things is if someone tries to purposely hurt you wether it’s a family member or a friend, it’s not worth your time or your life to try to be what they want you to be. Your life is your life and you can decide who you want to be. Thank you for taking your time to read this. Sorry it’s kind of long.
@@snowylife461 It is truly sad and ironic that the person who should receive therapy doesn't seek it, while the person who has been hurt by that person ends up needing therapy. I think it's remarkable and courageous how you managed to escape from those difficult circumstances and find wise and resourceful solutions. I want to express how admirable and proud I am of you for enduring and overcoming the hardships of your childhood. I sincerely wish you nothing but happiness in your future endeavors. Warm love from S. Korea.
