I'm so glad I took the time to read your detailed and thoughtful response. (I used Google translate, so, I hope they did well interpreting your meanings.) I, too, felt very healed.
I've heard a lot of people say that you can't use acrylics like you'd use watercolors, which has always confused me because I've done it and had a good time (not to mention acrylic gouache is treated more like gouache despite being matte acrylic), so it makes me happy to see you do it as well! By the way, is there any reason why you make your own transfer paper instead of store bought graphite paper? Wonderful art as always, Kaiteki. I'm constantly grateful for your uploads 🥰
Thank you! I also like to use acrylic paints like watercolors, so I would like to continue drawing something with this method. The blackness of the graphite paper I made can be adjusted, so I make it to the required darkness at that time 😊
from what i've heard about using acrylics like watercolor is that it can cause a longevity issue with the polymers being too weak to maintain structure over time and cause cracking and flaking, might be something to think about before fully committing to paintings you want to last a long time
@@ThePalatineHill I've heard that too, but I haven't had that problem yet when using it on paper as opposed to canvas or wood because it just sinks right in
I watched this with my brother yesterday, and we were both like "Whaaaat!" when you pulled out the putty and created your own 3D effects and filagree! Once again, you've created an absolutely beautiful piece, and threw me for a loop with how you got there! Question - were you always intending the background to be black, or did you change your mind along the way? My brother thought you were always planning it, but since you went over the blue you'd already put down and covered it up completely, I thought you decided along the way you wanted to make it pop more. Either way, we agreed the black was a good choice!
This might be my top favorite of yours, but that is not to say you've made any I don't absolutely love! As always, your colors are just mind-blowingly vibrant & beautiful. Whenever I come across your videos, I get 'lost' & forget what Im doing, lol. It's just a pleasure to watch you work, truly. Thanks for another wonderful vid!
BRILLIANT!!! Your work never ceases to amaze me! Absolutely stunning! I so love watching you draw/paint! It is so incredibly calming! The results are always beyond what I could first imagine! Wonderful!!!
This is GORGEOUS oh my god, the use of light modeling paste was so creative and it's amazing how you got it to be applied so consistently!! Also, I can't believe that's not watercolor LOL
