ASMR Art School Interview Roleplay: Portfolio Perusing with Page Turning 

"We do not have cream or sugar anywhere on campus" made me laugh A LOT :D

My ruminations of this work vacillated between a state of reverence for Dr. Von Spring's erudition & the simple joy of Springbok's great sense of humour. Thanks for your great videos!

This is just what I needed after a long day teaching and feeling ill, thank you!

Possibly the single greatest ASMR video on RU-vid. No audio tricks, no sexual connotations. My ASMR was triggered as a kid by an adult admiring a scrapbook of mine. Ever since, almost anyone taking a deep interest in any work I had done would trigger my ASMR. No sleep inducing feelings. Just a tremendous “in my head” sense of well-being, almost trance like. This video comes closer than anything else without overdoing the tiresome endless tapping and stereo imaging and unbearable whispering adopted by those who think they “get” ASMR, but in my case, miss it by a country mile. This and Springbok’s “Rhetoric” videos define the high water mark in the genre. Still brilliant several years on. Wish she had kept going for longer.

I literally could not relax to this. Not that this isn't superb, because it is. Its just that I am a photographer and this was all too real of many a portfolio showing. Scary, nerve wracking stuff.

It was cool when you did that thing at that point in the video.

I imagined that my portfolio consisted entirely of cats wearing human clothing going about their work day. It's social commentary...or something. Also I need to know if your coffee is gluten-free, this is important.

I am so impressed. Your intimidating demeanor, the use of black and white, and your hand movements are a strange combination of being unsettling and yet very relaxing! Amazing work!

We went from cemeteries to eroticism real quick.

I know this one has been around a while but it's my "go-to" video, when nothing else works. It always gets the job done for me. And the coffee through-line is genius. I'd love for Dr. Von Spring to make another appearance.

Watching this video has really relaxed me but it's also taught me I know absolutely nothing about art!

As an artsy-fartsy individual, I love this video. So pretentious, much precise, wow.

Can I just say I'm terrified of ads on ASMR videos? I get ready to fall asleep, turn up my phone all the way, find a good video, and close my eyes while it loads, and then suddenly someone's yelling at me about a new TV show.

Hi! I absolutely love listening to your videos! I prefer the softer speaking and semi-slow speaking videos you but out that involves you talking. For example like the talking to loved ones video. I love to listen to them before bed to calm down! But can you please make more soft spoken videos, thanks! And ps... I love your videos!

What to say? Years down the line, and this remains (for me) the nearest any ASMR video has come to triggering real, genuine ASMR in my head. It’s not based on any sort of sexual excitement, endless stereo jumping from one ear to the next, no tapping of books and no inadvertently deliberate cleavage. The dialogue is credible and intelligent (as is Spring’s “rhetoric” video), and he character rendition is hugely convincing. For me, there’s been no-one come close to Spring’s apparently deep rooted understanding of what ASMR truly feels like. She remains very much in a class of her own, and her videos are still the benchmark that others should seek to emulate. Sorely missed.

I have a full day of work ahead and yet I happened to see that you posted a new video first thing in this morning! It's going to be torturous waiting until I can get home to watch it. Really looking forward to this now :)

It's not easy to make such an ASMR video. Research, getting art materials for the portfolio, having a story line, rehearsing dialogue, practicing the role, preparing the location and testing the gear and trying to do it all in one take without expecting much financial reward. Thank you for all the efforts you have put in making these videos you are a true talent, gifted and natural whether it's the gentle tapping, soft whispers, or mesmerizing role plays, your content never fails to provide a sense of calm and serenity in a hectic world. Please remember that your ASMR videos have made a lasting impact on so many of us, and the memories of the relaxation, comfort and escaping reality in some cases will remain cherished. I would definately get into a conflict with Dr. Von Spring. I once had a teacher, who was just like her, and when she said sentences like for example "We do not have cream or sugar anywhere on campus." I had to laugh, but she was all serious. That leaded to her, saying, that she has the feeling I do not respect her lessons. :D
