My mom was a transcriptionist and worked at home, often past my bedtime as a kid. I could hear the keys clicking in the next room through the wall while I was falling asleep, and now the sound of typing always makes me sleepy ❤️
This script is phrased so neutrally that it's really simple to insert your own answers into it and it still feels natural. Honestly, even the best ASMR videos that interact with the viewer fail on this
Exactly. Sometimes when my friends talk soft spoken, I told them it gives me weird tingles that relax me. They recommend soft spoken ASMR and none have worked except this one because I like it to where I can easily insert my self into the questions or conversation while it feeling like an actual conversation
THIS. The conversation would be like. Have you been mauled by a tiger? And you say. Of course not. Then their response it like. Wow. And you survived? So brave. Like huh?😂😂😂
The reminder "if you find yourself drifting during today's call, feel no obligation to answer, I'll be here on the line with you the whole time" is sooo relaxing to me. I always feel the need to stay up during ASMR videos because I don't want to miss the story line, but with this series... I'm okay with slowly watching the full video(s)
0:32 I do not care if that is impossible for a headset to connect to a dial phone, I just LOVE that you brought back the dial phone, possibly my favourite ASMR object and thanks to you being such an amazing editor it isn't as loud in the final product as I've seen in other ASMRs it's perfect, thank you ALB
That and when she "dialed" but answered the phone as if someone was calling her. It's minimal and I definitely noticed it but I adore these videos so much
@@chriswilliams7591 i mean obviously the dial was for the aesthetic, but she does say later in the video that the person calls the survey people with something along the lines of, “putting it on record that you’re calling”
@@chriswilliams7591 it's 2am so this may be a half asleep thought that doesn't work, but I've just had a genius idea. perhaps she was dialing in a code to redirect the call to her headset? that would be so cute
You even decorated the telephone with that service's name and its a cherry on top that it's exactly 1 hour long, that in itself is already so satisfying! 💖👄💖
The return of the survey call! This series is pretty much the only thing that's guaranteed to make me fall asleep x.x thank you for all the effort you put into your videos! ❤
OMG imagine a Film Noir yet also camp and kitsch style detective agency video where ALB is a private investigator taking calls Edit: I've almost described the crime unit calls from the boring town ha
@@albinwhisperland you definitely brought it to my mind! (And I've watched it at least a dozen times so maybe brings more emphasis to the compliment! ☺️)
Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was an interactive ASMR service where you could ring up and a person would start softly speaking/whispering a conversation with you?
Make it an app. I will apply for a job. "Now recruiting for customer whisperer, voices above 1 decibel need not apply. Interviews will be held inaudibly using tingles." 🕯️📝🤫
That would actually be amazing! I don't know why but sometimes when my friends talk in a soft spoken tone, it calms me like asmr and I have told them this and they recommend ASMR. Not a lot of it has worked (other than ALB so far) because it's just not like an actual conversation. So his would be a good idea!
18:14 dude, I’m 15 and I got some of those stars recently bc I never had them when I was little and they literally make me so happy 😂 it’s so nice to just look up at them when I’m like stressed out or can’t sleep. I even have a little moon :)
I'm almost 24 and I've had glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling since I was a teen, because I also always wanted them as a kid. You're never too old for stuff like that. As long as it makes you happy :)
YEEEEESSSS my dreams for another survey video have come true! Happy 300th video, Angelina! I fall asleep to your videos every night. Thank you for being you.
2:34 made me tear up a little bit - I'm trans, and the last time I watched one of these videos I was still going by my deadname. It's just a little thing you said, but it was really thoughtful and inclusive. Just wanted to say thanks!! 💖
alb, not sure youll see this, but i struggle with existentialism and panic attacks about death at night very frequently. i ALWAYS come to this video because answering the questions distracts my mind, so ive probably fallen asleep to this video 15+ times... this has helped me more than anything relax at night so i can stop thinking 💕 thank you alb 💕💕
@albinwhisperland 6 months later and I listen to this still probably 4 nights out of the week ... it puts me to sleep so fast, sometimes I hear unfamiliar questions!! thank you again!
“What name do you have on file with us?” And “is that the name you’d like me to call you today?” Makes me so incredibly happydnsjsb it’s so validating??
OH MY GOD ive been watching your survey videos every day while studying AND falling asleep and ive been dying to have another one - this is the perfect timing!! thank you for your hard work i hope youre doing amazing!
You are just too fantastic! Every tiny little detail so carefully thought out is what makes your video feel like an experience and are so magical. All your efforts are definitely noticed. So well done 💗.
I like to think all of ALB's characters are separate people who look exactly the same because they're blood-related somehow, like Nurse Joy or Officer Jenny
I suffer from relatively frequent intrusive thoughts, which can be very vivid and very frightening for me, and sometimes it’s hard to feel “innocent” or “normal” again. But for some reason, this series (and a lot of ALB videos, in general) has been able to immediately snap me back when I need it. I listen to these survey videos when I want to feel safe and calm again. And for helping me back into that safe space, I owe ALB all of my thanks. ❤️❤️
I’m shocked no one has replied to this! You are normal, I promise. 🤍 often people say silly things like dying their hair or painting their nails are “intrusive thoughts”. That’s one reason that people with actual intrusive thoughts feel so out of place. Intrusive thoughts are often unspeakable. Remember that they are not YOUR thoughts. And that often intrusive thoughts aim to ruin what you love the most. So if you have very specific gross or disturbing ones, often what you really believe is the very opposite of what that intrusive thought is telling you! I hope you’re feeling a bit better since writing this! 😄🤍
Hey man! I'm sorry you're going through that, that sounds really tough. Have you brought those up with a doctor or therapist? Intrusive thoughts are normal, but if they're impacting your day to day life, that sounds like something you should look into with a medical professional. (maybe also look into OCD - vivid intrusive thoughts are a huge symptom)
The combination of ALB’s amazing voice, meticulous set dressing, typing, clever writing that fits with whatever you may have answered, just make this so unbelievably perfect and tingly, I’m looking forward to coming back to it many times!
“Do you have any allergies?” “Yes actually I have around 12ish I think many of which can vary like preservatives or artificial colorings and flavorings-“ “We get that answer a lot actually” “I… find that hard to believe”
YES !!!!!! your survey/lil customer service videos (like the boring town series) are my absolute favorite, and it's such a pleasant surprise to see another upload. much love and ty for all u do
@@albinwhisperland love this series. Your questions are great and responses are left perfectly open to the answers. Love the details and camera angles too. 💕 On the note of rotary phones, you could do a video of you cold calling residences attempting to sell an absurd or nonsense product. You could even base residents off of characters of a show and base their receptiveness of purchasing your product on how you think their character would act. Just thoughts 😊 hope you're well!
This series is the best! Thrilled to see you're back with another one of these. I especially love how the ambiguity of the responses function beautifully as genuine answers that don't alienate people who answer questions either way. Very, very clever.
This is the first time I’ve ever come across your channel. I normally am not a fan of soft spoken but the way you are so mindful with your speaking, how you enunciate, and the colors and overall peacefulness of the video has me hooked. Amazing ❤️
I wish my working space was so pretty! Although I do have a very cozy space, I don't have an actual desk, but if I did, I would get vintage accessories in pink and seafoam and baby blue! Thanks for posting!
Oh my goodness!! Today was my first day back to work after a long period of illness and coming home to find a new ALB Whisperland Survey video is _just_ what I needed
I feel like this is a job in dr. Seuss, it just gives me those vibes and its so comforting since Dr. Seuss is like ny childhood and it makes the videos all the more amazing and just in general its relaxing and very sleep inducing, I love these videos sm
Somehow you managed to write the script the way all my answers perfectly fitted in your replies. It was so realistic especially with humming the music, it felt so... Natural? Like I'm really talking to someone. Truly fascinating! ❤️ P.S. Thank you very much for subtitles! I'm learning English and it helps a lot :)
Your Whisperland calling videos are a big classic for me when I want to go to bed - the soft voice you use is clear, but also monotone enough that there are no surprises in the sound level, so you can doze off knowing you won't be shaken awake. It's like a gentle wave carrying you to sleep ! Thank you for taking the time and effort to do another one
16:39 THIS. I was over my friend's house, he keeps the shades down 24/7 with a buzzing single florescent light above. It drives me crazy, it's SUPER beautiful sunny outside and feels like a taliban cave in here but he says he doesn't care. So weird to me, I'd be manic depressed in that setting
bestie you gotta give me more time to answer, i’m autistic so my answers each have a build up and an explanation & they all start with “well technically”
This is by far the best asmr series to exist on RU-vid. Your Halloween one was the only video I could fall asleep to for months! Thank you so much for pouring time and energy into the creation of these masterpieces! It is greatly appreciated!
That little “is that the name you want me to call you today” made my heart skip a beat. As a trans person whose chosen name isn’t their legal name I hate having to use my deadname with companies and it means so much to put a different one down.
I had a HUGE obsession with wolves when I was younger. Like so huge that I pretended to be a wolf at night. I would tell my sister that at night I became a wolf and hunted with my pack. Then she told me she did the same thing but as a horse lol. I still really love wolves but not that much..
It's almost as if ALB has entered my brain and brought to life my dream ASMR videos. Everything from the aesthetic to the concept is simply perfect. She will always be my favourite ASMR artist 🥰
I couldn't help but laugh at the "4 directions of kids" because I literally listed those things in that exact order 😭. Love these survey calls so much, the questions are random but somehow always hit home and everything is so so satisfying!
I recently discovered your channel and OMGOODNESS!!! How do u not have like a million subscribers??! Your voice is so very soothing! Glad I found you! ❣️
