Tiny Cyberpunk2077 fact: Facial Cyberware became a trend after the corpo-wars. Soldiers used it to protect their internal cyberware against EMP attacks. The success of it was always questionable, so it was mostly a Placebo. (Jackie Welles facial Cyberware is one of these military ones) When the wars ended and the soldiers came back home they wore it as a mark of honor. This turned into a fashion trend. In the era of the games and show, facial Cyberware has become a fashion statement. Some also serve other purposes, but most are really just cosmetic or a good luck charm for mercs. Thats why its a little weird that Jackie and V were let into Konpeki Plaza in the first place, since Jackies Cyberware is really not something a businessperson would ever even touch. Its low class Merc stuff. Everybody in that universe knows their cyberware like we Know Rolex and Guchi Bags. So the moment they saw Jackie (and potentially V if he/she wore that CW too), the guards should have sprung into full alert mode. Sadly its a feature not tapped into with the game.
