I think the term body mapping makes more sense because a lot of other ASMR triggers are in POV, doing your makeup, doing your hair etc. and if I was laying down I’d have a really sore neck at the end of the session if I was looking at my body like this 🤣

I wish there were more ASMR videos out there like this. I know some reiki focused channels have done it, but I really liked having the pillow body because it felt more immersive and easier to visualize myself in the space if that makes sense.

This is my favorite trigger and I was constantly using keywords like massage, blanket sounds and personal attention to try find the the trigger. Hopefully we can all start calling it body mapping, or POV ASMR, so it’s easier to find. Thank you so much for making this so relaxing and informative 🥰

I was so confused when you were describing this, but as soon as it cut to the reiki I was like "OHHHHHH" that makes so much sense. This is such a cool idea, I've never seen it before. It reminds me so much of how convincing tactile illusions can be. The mind is so powerful. 😌 I love the version with the pillows!

I liked the first version more! Maybe you can look into LuneInnate's pov videos. LuneInnate does reiki pov videos as well but doesn't show the bed that much. That also makes it quite realistic. Maybe as a variant for the second version?
