I first came across this phenomena in my teens at a library in my lunch break. I was browsing the books and became aware of people looking at the newspapers so I sat listened and after a few minutes a tranquil calmness appeared. This has never left me. I thought it was just me until now 40 years later. Meditation can involve listening or staring at an object. They must somehow be related.

@@TheASMRGirl 5 biological and a Foster. Done now though. Getting a bit passed it now 😬 🤣 but I've got my grand kids to look forward to. My eldest is 20 so might not be too long! Kinda hope I can hit 40 first though!! Wish you all the best with the pregnancy. They can be tough at times but I have no doubt you'll sail through and make a fabulous mum when the time comes..🥰
