The lofi is so much better, personally. The overly produced and crispy sounds can sometimes be almost piercing, but the white noise of lofi makes it sound fuzzier and more personal.

As a kid who had ADHD growing up (and as a trans person who wouldn’t recommend giving JKR’s work to anyone anymore, unfortunately,) I recommend letting your kid read the lightning thief and all of Rick riordan’s work. The protagonist has ADHD and struggles in school, but it turns out it’s because he’s half god. Super cool book that boosts kids self confidence, especially if they struggle in school. My mom and I are both librarians and we’ve both recommended the series to kids for years with tons of success- It should be at a similar reading level with similar fantasy themes. And instead of a big school it’s a big summer camp that kids get super into. I bet your kid would love it!
