Did you know? You can cover a full side of a specific wall by pressing alt and then click that wall. It will paint only that side and you don't have to drag the cursor all the way down. I accidentally discovered this a couple of days ago...
Go on the right corner And click to the camera, Vote camera from the Sims 3 And click to the prop And click alt + pull Im sorry because im not good at english
You could also put the cheat bb.moveobjects on, so you can freely place items in spots where the game doesn’t usually let you, theres also other buttons you can use to resize items, or to raise/lower them (you can look them up cause ik some are different according to your keyboard- windows/Mac) it’s a game changer when decorating your house 😭
@@ayannaaah6563 you hop out of the bath and your whole body is wet. even if there was a bath mat on the ground, the bathtub is on a different level than the other step, so it’s kinda far down to set your feet down. the floor can get wet and easily slippery which is not the best when there’s split leveling
Just a tip on placing wallpaper, put the accents after the base colour, its easier. Or the way you do it hold alt while adding the wallpaper and it will apply only to that wall your applying it to
Do these builds work in live mode or are they just for show for the video? Like would the sims be able to use the platforms as steps or would they need actual stairs places to move from one platform to another?
Sometimes CC objects come with places where objects snap to, but they are not for all objects. You can use the 9 key to raise objects that don't snap, and move them with the Alt key. Now if the object snaps and you want it in a different place, fill the snap slots first, then use the 9 key trick, position the object where you want and delete everything filling the snap slots.
There's a "platform trims" section. I BELIEVE it is next to the half-wall trims thing, or next to the foundation types thing. You know the place on the interface you change from stairs to ladders? It's in that location on the interface, but in a different section.
does anyone know what is used to change the colour of the raised platform parts?? i use them in my builds all the time but i've never known how to change it so its not just grey 😭 i figured it'd be platform trim but for some reason it never recognizes the platforms for me!
I don’t understand why, through all of the packs and all the items we have in game, including clutter packs!! We don’t have actual nice items like CC yet. It’s literally their job to make these items and the game isn’t cheap especially when you add it all up so what the hell!?
