Unlike humans and dogs, who are natural omnivores and have teeth designed to chew, cats are natural carnivores, with teeth that are sharp and pointy, designed to pierce. Because they’re carnivores, their diets should always be meat based, but treats like corn are okay in moderation, kind of like junk food is for humans. Thank you, this has been a PSA.
@dion one I was asking the same thing to a few cat owners and they could not answer OR did not know. Corn is never digested in humans BUT are cats the same or can they digest it correctly ? It could cause blockage as in humans. BUT, I find it relaxing for some reason. Not the blockage , the cat eating corn! lol
@dion one Corn is used in many popular cat/dog food as a filler, not healthy for them because it's processed so heavily. I think this little one will be fine eating a bit of fresh cooked corn. "Grain free" labeled pet food is always the best choice a bit pricy but it's healthy for them.

This is very cute! my cat will also eat things like this from time to time. Glad to read Lilly gets meat based food everyday =) I hope other people don't get the wrong idea that cats can live on a vegetarian diet alone ,they need meat as a main source of food to be healthy. They are carnivores.
Thystaff Thywill - No. They absolutely are NOT, they are obligate carnivores and too much plant food is really bad for them. I know this comment is old, but this needs to be corrected for anyone who might come across this video and see it. It's so dangerous for kitties not to give them enough meat. They need a diet that's 90%+ meat to live. This video is cute, but corn is honestly terrible for them to eat.
